Nice design and easy to install

I really like this mailbox. It’s the nicest looking mailbox on my block. I like that it was easy to install, the design of the mailbox with the lock, and the pewter color. I can’t testify as to whether the lock mechanism is full proof but I’m sure if a criminal really wanted to get my mail s/he would be able to. At least it’s a little deterrent. My only 2 issues are that my 12 yo daughter can reach through the slot and grab the mail because her arm is skinny enough so it’s definitely not totally secure and another little qualm of mine is that when I water my lawn and the water gets on the mailbox there are water spots on it after. It really shows because of the dark pewter color but I still like how the mailbox looks. UPDATE: The clips that hold outgoing mail will hold regular size envelopes but if you want to mail out a 5x7 Christmas card the card will stick out of the mailbox and the door will collapse and open fully since the magnet that closes the door is blocked. This became a pain during the holidays because I didn’t want to leave my mail fully exposed in case they got damaged from rain or someone took them. I wish there was some way you could adjust the clips to make them lower.

Very happy with the quality of this box.

I like everything about it except the price. But you get what you pay for so I guess it is well wieth the extra money. I use this for my blade sharpening service for people to drop off when I am not there. I am considering another for an honor system yard sale.

I am so happy

I always lived in NYC where mailboxes were closed and you had to use a key. I now live outside of NYC and the mailboxes are like the ones I used to see when I went south. There and anyone can go inside take or put what they like inside of it. I asked about putting in mailboxes with keys but no one was interested. I guess its the money part of it and people are cheap or used to it. I saw this mailbox and jumped at the chance to buy it. I have a neighbor who watches when I go to the mailbox. I love it. Its easy to open and it even has a space for outgoing mail. Magazines can fit in as well. The mailman might not like it because he will have to walk my long driveway to my house for those small packages that used to fit in the mailbox. Tough. Thanks

Pretty much what they say it is...a budget locking mailbox

This isn't a high dollar mailbox, but that doesn't mean it is cheap or poorly built. It means that it isn't built out of the heavier gauge material that you pay a lot more for. It will deter the majority of mail thieves simply because it is a locked box. If someone had the tools with them and spent a little time it would not be to difficult to pry open. It was easy to install. I thought I read that it came with hardware but I could be wrong...I looked at a lot of them before buying.

It needs adaptive hardware

I bought this to put in an existing row of boxes. Only after I opened it did I read that the mounting hardware comes with its specific post ! It was very difficult to adapt. That should be specified in the ad !

Nice Mailbox Upgrade

Beautiful upgrade for my property. With locking, Mail hold is not so critical. Easy to install and makes me feel more secure.

Stylish and secure

I needed a locking mailbox because of mail theft in my neighborhood. After looking around and reading reviews, I decided on this one. I am very satisfied with this mailbox. It is very nice looking and seems to be good quality.

Secure, but cheap lock.

The lock is a little cheap and I’m considering taking it out. For the money, it should be easier to use as the key feels like it’s teeth are off.
