Poorly packaged
Product is OK. Flaps of cardboard on top and bottom of box holding the items are too narrow and don't completely cover them. One flap on top and one flap on bottom were loose. I took a photo of the box but upload of photo kept getting an error message.

Recycled, and otherwise good enough
Listen, this is not the softest or most absorbent toilet paper there is. But it's also nowhere near the worst in those categories. I buy this tp exclusively because it's recycled, and that's important to me. Most of the big tp brands are just so horribly environmentally irresponsible, and I don't want to support those practices ever again. Other than being recycled, this product is not extraordinary, but it's absolutely acceptable in every way. And pretty good value, too!

less sheets, greater weight, lower price (for now)
i am no soft toilet paper aficionado, so i cannot speak to the merits of wiping with heavenly silken clouds versus heavy grit emery cloth. i did however notice that my recently delivered order of (4 packages@12 rolls each) 7th generation tp comprised rolls of 240 sheets as opposed to the 300 sheet rolls i'd historically received. this matters to me because i use the stuff for more than just polishing my bum – i sneeze into it, blow my nose into it, use it for various cleaning duties that do not require the stoutness of a paper towel, et cetera. comparing my 14 july order of this stuff with my 21 december order, i find that both claim 4"x4" sheets; both claim to have been 100% recycled, and to have a minimum of 50% post consumer recycled content; both take up the same amount of space in the hall closet. contrasting them i find that the 14 july order cost $33.80, and the 21 december 2017 price is $28.96. this reflects a 14% lower price for 20% less sheets. but wait, it gets more weird – the new stuff has more pronounced embossing or texturing, and appears to be more loosely rolled to maintain the diameter of the packaged product. now for the true nerd nonsense: i actually weighed eight rolls from each of the two selections and came up with an average weight of 98.4375 grams per roll for the old stuff, and 102.525 grams per roll of the new stuff. this means paying 14% less for 4% more weight. i am not about to strip the rolls and weigh the tubes, but deforming them at the ends of the full rolls, the tubes seem pretty consistent between the two shipments of shpinc wipes. conclusion? too much spare time. the price on this crapwrap fluctuates so frequently that none of this likely means much. i guess the takeaway is that maybe 7th gen has responded to some of the complaints by fattening the sheets and reducing the count. (UPDATE) it's august of 2018, and in the eight months since i put up this review a couple of more shipments of this stuff have come in. the inconsistencies continue. the price still fluctuates wildly, and both the width and thickness have varied, though the heavily embossed thing went away. of course i also do not know how long one or another of these cases have been sitting in some warehouse from a previous generation of the product. i have not bothered to do the weighing thing again because i am confident that doing so a dozen more times would not reveal a trend in any direction i guess the only long term trend one could anticipate would be that the price will go up and the quality will go down – just like everything else (except microprocessors).

Good TP & good product line in general
I like all the Seventh Generation products I use. It's nice that the TP is made from recycled paper and it gets the job done. I often watch for deals on this since it's a 48 roll purchase. Such deals hit just before Covid did, so while the store shelves were empty and prices were raising, I was sitting pretty on a case and a partial. No need to find sub par alternatives or buy Imodium to wait out the shortages. I also use there laundry detergent and dish soap off and on, but I always like to have their TP in stock at the house.

Gotta love your toilet paper!
I actually really like to use the UnPaper toilet wipes but we keep disposable toilet paper around and I'm always glad to not have to worry about TP, it comes every month from Amazon Subscribe and Save!

Don't kill trees to wipe
In case of another TP shortage, this is enough to be the neighborhood hero. Also, no trees died for this product.

Wrapped in plastic?!
I should have expected this product to be wrapped in plastic based on the picture, but I was still disappointment when it turned up in so much disposable packaging. I would love if Seventh Generation would go the paper wrapping route like many bulk supply companies do for restaurants/ hotels/ etc. It feels like the environmental benefits of the product are negated by the plastic packaging...

whitened without chlorine
I am very chemically sensitive and my skin is no exception. This paper is the only one so far I have found to not irritate my skin especially in such a sensitive area.

Great Value, good quality product.
This is a great price for the product received. It’s also softer than some of its competitors but still could use some improvement. I do think that it’s thick and strong enough though and we’ve never experienced any clogging issues.

nice septic toilet paper - plush and low lint
good toilet paper for your septic system claims to be low lint which can kill your system - seems to be on the more plush side and as such takes longer to break down a little pricey but having a sick septic system makes for some bad times at the cottage overall nice paper

Time will tell- Seventh Generation Toilet Tissue
Purchased because it is supposed to not have been bleached with chlorine bleach and is scent free and so on. Is supposed to be environmentally responsible as well. Like both. Not particularly soft though which is a tad disappointing.
