A bit small, pull back unreliable

Bought this for my 4yr old grandson. He wanted a trolley toy just like on the show. I read reviews on the different model options and decided to go with this trolley. Upon arrival, I thought it was a bit small. And the pull back and roll feature only works sometimes. That being said, my grandson still plays with it . The Daniel figure is adorable, though also small. His head and arms move. I don't know if this toy would be sturdy enough for a child under 4 who might be constantly dropping it or being on the rougher side. But we still are happy with it

Cute but…

I might have missed it in the details for the recommended age, but I ended up only giving my daughter trolley. Daniel Tiger was bobble head like and I was afraid she would put it in her mouth and potentially choke. It was really cute but I wish Daniel Tiger’s head wasn’t mobile.

Simple, but fun

My two-year-old was more than happy to receive this as a gift. The trolley travels very far when pulled back and let go. Bell dings when moving. As an adult, I find it difficult to stand the characters on the pegs, so my little one definitely struggles. My son just has to toss them all in, which he's fine with. Overall simple, but fun!

adore everything about it, pull-back jams easily

( just a few concerns ) Personally very happy with this purchase! My 2.5 year old is elated, and so am I. The ding is not electronic, but rather created by a little chiming mechanism akin to vintage toys. It doesn’t sound exactly like the show, but I personally really love it and was excited to discover that it was NOT electronic. I do believe there is an electronic version for those who may want it. It is also plastic. The idea of a wooden trolly sounds really cute to me, but I honestly don’t think it would survive play unless it was done very sturdily and much more expensive. Potential Concerns: 1. One thing that really stood out to me is that like most people, we do have hair and fuzz and dust in our home. Even if I clean up the bulk of it, the wheels pick up any little bit they find, and this causes the pull-back function to jam. This happened to us within the first five minutes when my toddler managed to find the one spot of pet fur in the area. It took me ten or so minutes with a pair of eyebrow trimming scissors and needle nose pliers to Painstakingly clean it all out so it would work again. It’s still an agonizingly adorable toy, and I think my son would still enjoy it even without the pull-back feature since he can still push it around and so far get manual momentum... but I could see this upsetting some folks. I will probably have to clean it routinely to maintain the function. It WILL motivate me to clean the floors more thoroughly and frequently, which is actually kindof nice. 2. Daniel’s head and arms can swivel, which means they can be ripped off and become a choking hazard. It’s kind of cool that they can move, but also limits the age range and doesn’t make that much sense unless their are things for the child to have him do where his arms / head would need to move ( like pretend play wherein they might want to be able to move his arms. ) My toddler was really intrigued by the ability, so that was fun to see. I do worry a little though and would have been bummed if he was younger / mouthier and I couldn’t give him Daniel. All in all we’re really happy! Seeing my son’s excitement with the Trolly and Daniel is Definitely overwhelming. Thank you!

Granddaughter loves it!

It’s the first gift our two year old granddaughter decided was “hers”. This is her special toy and her older sister can’t get close to it. It’s her favorite.

Good toy!

This is such a cute and fun trolly that you can pull back and go (of course with favorite characters inside). A must buy for Daniel Tiger fans! It can be hard for little ones to get their hands inside to put the characters on the pegs themselves but it depends on your kids hand size. My son often just throws them in there and will occasionally ask for help putting them on pegs but sometimes manages on his own. I don't mind helping when he needs help. Do you mind playing with your son and helping them? Well I sure don't.. It's a cute and fun toy. My son does play independently some but he's very much a Mama's boy and loves for me to play along with most of his toys. He has a lot of toys, trust me on that but even with all of his play things he loves me to play with him a lot of times. He is three and will sonetimes play independently for an hour or two but it really depends on his mood. Haha.. I'm giving 4 stars because I personally wish this was a metal trolly but it's plastic like Little People toys however I think the plastic may be a tad thinner then Little People but it still lasts and is made to hold up to toddler abuse. Good toy for 2-5 year olds who love Daniel Tiger. I also bought the "Daniel Tiger figures gift set". My only complaint with that gift set is that Daniel Tigers Mommy, Daddy and Sister is not included and I can't find them separate without paying a LOT of money. My Son absolutely loves Daniel's family more then the friends at this point but it is still a fun add on to the trolly. I'd definitely buy again! A really solid and fun toy that will hold their interest just fine!! ????

Perfect gift! My toddler loved it!

We got this for my little girl for her 2bd vday and she loved it. We also got the set of figures to go with it. She plays with this almost every day.

Great for developing fine motor skills.

I bought this for myself a month ago, and I must say it has been very helpful. I don't have very good fine motor skills in my hands, and this toy is helping with that. The only downside is that the Daniel Tiger figure is too big. I couldn't get it to fit in there. so, I tossed it aside. I just play with the trolley. Not with the Daniel Tiger figure. Other than that, I think it's an amazing toy.

Yeah it's not easy to put Daniel inside as the openings are quite ...

My child loves this! Yeah it's not easy to put Daniel inside as the openings are quite small, but that isn't too major of an issue. It makes a little dinging sound, and drives forward after you pull it back, which is fun for kids. The Daniel figure is nice, but it does tend to fall backwards, as it is not balanced very well, but is set to lean back. This isn't a defective one, as we have since purchased the full set and they all do that. But I'm not the one playing with it, and the important thing is the one playing with it loves it!

Well made ...worth your money

All the tiger Daniel Santa brought were absolutely perfect and worth every penny . Well made ... my Granddaughter loved it all and plays with it all . Tiger..Catrina ...the figurines ...Tiger and the bus..the Tiger tent ....luvs luvs it all and all delivered to my door ... can’t beat that . Thank you

Love this trolley. A great durable toy for kids. When hold trolley tight to the floor and pull back and let go it moves forward on its own.
