Good metal replacement for plastic OEM part

Replacing all plastic awning parts with metal ones on my 2008 Jayco 24RKS travel trailer. Was originally concerned about fitment, but unit fit the strut perfectly. The supplied pop rivets of high quality, appeared stainless steel. Don't buy a cheap rivet tool, as the one I used broke immediately. Needs heavy duty compound action tool. Where the fasteners go, you can alternatively use stainless screws, washers, and Nylock nuts.

High Quality Replacement Part

Great replacement for the cheap plastic that was originally on the awning. I got a high leverage riveter from harbor freight for 20 bucks and it went together in about 5 minutes. The hardest part was getting the old rivet out.

May not fit dometic...

Got it to work by widening the union area with a grinder. Trimed the receiving leg to fit as well. The package did not say it fit my model, but the product description did.

Perfect replacement part.

Used to repair my RV Awning. It fit perfectly but, the rivets were extremely difficult to "pop". Maybe an properly sized self tapping screw would be easier to install but just as effective.

Perfect replacement for the OEM

Had an incident that caused the old one to break, perfect replacement for an OEM foot. Just make sure you have a high leverage pop rivet gun, those rivets were plenty thick!
