Very nice hard hat for ranch use.
I bought the yellow one with vents. It also has slots for hearing protection and a six point, ratcheting suspension that can be adjusted to ride higher or lower. For a non tradesman and someone who doesn't want to spend over a hundred dollars on a hard hat, the options on Amazon are dizzying. The suspension on my old MSA hat failed and it was too hard to find a replacement. I browsed for quite awhile before settling on this one. Rest assured that these hats are not flimsy. This hat feels as sturdy as my MSA hat and the suspension is much more comfortable. Normal human hands cannot bend the brim. I have a large head and I feel zero sharp points or chafing. The vent holes will help in the sun. It has a very soft sweat band, but I have others to add. It appears that the vent holes will not allow vertical rain in. I like the ratchet system because it moves in small increments. Having already affixed my light, the hat does not come off when I look down. Great for the price. Really, great at a higher price.

Nice helmet but flimsy webbing
Love the vents and overall fit, but the webbing system is a little flimsy. The plastic push pins keep popping out of place and bend out of shape easily. The sweat band is very comfortable and the adjustment ratchet works well. I wear this helmet 10 plus hours a day.

Bittersweet
First the positive points: Its absolutely adorable & feminine. If You HAVE TO wear PPE on-the-job, You might as well do it in style looking as cute & girly as possible, Right?? It accomplishes that 100%. It IS comfortable, Well as comfy as a hard Hat CAN BE, I should say. (I'll elaborate in the negative section) The 6 point knob stays securely on my head even without wearing a bandana or drag & I have an undercut pixie haircut so where the inside harness hits my tiny little head, Is shaved down to a bald fade. The foam under the plastic is comfortable & it doesn't slip or shift on my head even without having anything to "grip" on to help hold it on my head. Noting is poking me in my scalp. Now, I'll say what in my opinion is negative points: It IS NOT HI-VIS pink. It's more like a bubble gum, Barbie pink. It's priced right for the jobs I need it for. It's still an economy grade hard hat. For this selling price, Its perfect for what I need. It will satisfy OSHA if they were ever on-site, is stylish & didn't cost me a small fortune.Just remember that you get what you pay for! It's hot as hell if you have to wear it longer than a few minutes at a time. I'm a truck driver so luckily I only need to wear it while loading or delivering on-site to Customers. I could never handle having to wear it all day! It claims it's "vented" but in reality it has Faux Venting. The vents aren't actually open. They're just for looks I guess. I ordered it in the morning & it was already on my porch by the evening of the same day. Quickest. Delivery. Ever. Although it's lighter than most, Its still not as light polycarbonate or better still,, a carbon fiber hard hat. Some of the other much more expensive specialty ones are made to be worn 14-16 hours a day. Read the specifications & compare weights. I would consider this one a medium-weight economy-style. I would have returned it if I had to wear it all day, Put it that way.If you have to work a full day is anything that weight or heavier, Your going to have a headache caused by neck strain by the time your heading home for dinner. Like the heading says...Bittersweet. You need to figure out for yourself what your own priorities & needs are based on what you'll need it for. For me, It serves my purpose.... for now

Great hard hat, adjustable webbing and many vents to keep you cool and comfortable.
Love this hard hat, very breathable. Light weight and seems very secure and durable as well. The nice inside webbing is helpful to find the right size for your noggin. For me the vent holes are what made this hard hat the perfect one for me. I am hair challenged and so swelling is an issue, as the lack of hair means it will just drip down your face. This one has enough vents to keep the inside of the hard hat more cool. I had wanted the different color, but the white one is fine. I also like that the company has many different styles as well.

very comfortable
I bought one of these for myself for work and I ended up ordering 2 more for my coworkers. Love the 6 point webbing inside the hat, and the vent holes work great. Update: one of the guys I bought these for said that his ratchet won't tighten anymore. It just spins. Don't know if the company sells just the guts.

Will save your skull
This hard hat was purchased for my wife. We just completed construction on our new 30'x40'x16' steel building (all by ourselves) and this hard hat saved our skulls too many times to count. The price is right, the fit was right and the durability is fantastic.

Would have been 5 stars if all 5 vent holes were there.
Light weight and the 6 point suspension is more comfortable than tour standard 4 point. I do wish that the ventilation holes were 5 on each side like the pictures. Mine came with 3 holes on each side.
