This is adorable!

The media could not be loaded. I ordered this costume for my Cavalier King Charles spaniel to wear to Krewe of Barkus Mardi Gras parade, but it’s made several repeat appearances after that! She’s a small pup (17lbs); however, I opted to order a Large for an oversized, dramatic look. It’s so adorable and made my day as well as many others!

I wanted this to work so bad

This is SUCH a super cute costume. My dogs weigh between 40-50 lbs and I bought a medium and large one for them to try on. I loved how the wings were thick, but what I truly loved was the fact that the design of the wing was printed on the bottom and top of the wing. This double sided design is great for photo ops because you can tell your dog is wearing a butterfly costume whether they are sitting or laying down. Despite al the pros I had to say about this costume, there was only one negative thing I had to say about it that outweighed all the good things I thought about it. The size is not as advertised. This costume has straps on it that cause this costume to be worn as a backpack on your dog and provide no support on your dogs chest to prevent it from sliding back. The straps for this costume are not sturdy and resemble what you would see in the stretch band of sweatpants. The straps are thin and are too loose for it to stay on your dog after walking or running around some. The straps are so long that I was able to criss- cross them to create a "Chest strap" for my dogs in hopes that I could make it work. After watching my dogs walk/run around in the costume after a bit, I came to the conclusion that the criss-cross method did extend the amount of time it took for the costume to slid back significantly but did eventually slide back because of how long the straps still were on both the medium and large sizes. Although the time it took for the costume to slide back increased significantly after crossing the straps (as pictured), it made the costume look weird and it looked like it might have even been uncomfortable for my dogs I contemplated buying a smaller one but the wing size would not have looked as good on my dogs. If you are crafty and can figure out a way to swap the straps to where there is a chest piece, this costume would be so cute and comfy looking. However, with the price that it is, I personally would not want to spend such a high amount on something that I still need to alter.

Cute, thick wings with good color

Got size medium for my 52 pound doodle. Much smaller wings that anticipated, but good fit with elastic. Color is great. Wings are thick and good quality. Headband stayed on well with a spot to put ears between, but the top was made of pipe cleaner and I thought it looks cheesy so we didn’t wear it.

SO FREAKING CUTE

I always call my corgi mariposa (butterfly in Spanish) and this was pretty much the only butterfly costume I could find for Halloween. But she looked absolutely adorable in it :) The little headband part was hard to keep on though and she kept taking it off. but the wings and stuff seemed pretty fine! Overall it’s a good costume

Fun and cute, but durability issues

Looked great on my dog, but one of the antennas on the hat snapped off almost immediately.

Perfect fit

It's a keeper, and not just for Halloween. I plan to run a clear thread between the 2 wings so they'll stay upright & out of my pup's mouth.

Cuter than cute!

This fit my pug who is about 18 pounds. It is well made. The butterfly wings are made of solid, light material. The little cap with the antennas are so cute. Item arrived quickly and was well packaged. Highly recommend this product. Thank you!

Adorable but straps are much longer than indicated on site

The straps were way too long even though the measurements on the site stated it should fit my dog. I had my friend sew the straps so it fit. One pom pom fell off the hat piece (attena) only after wearing it for 15 mins. Despite that, the customer was a hit. I was surprised how well made and sturdy the butterfly wings are. Considering the price, this was an awesome buy!

Good quality...med too big for 12 pd cat

My plan is to remove elastic and attach to my cats body halter/harness...also the wings flop so will add at the wing tips a clear fishing line so they stay upright...bought medium for my 12pd kitten as he will grow bigger. maybe smaller wings would of been better for the little Rascal...well made tho!!! I wouldn't recommend for big kittens as they wanna play with costume when on lol but oh so cute

Adorable! Great quality.

This fit my pug perfectly (small). I haven’t put the hat on yet but the wings flap when she walks and the colours are vibrant. Totally adorable!
