My second one

I had one of these for several years to use at work and it is great. Recently, the screen stopped working on it and after resetting and replacing batteries, I orderd a new one. Once you get used to it, it's hard to go back.

Great calculator!

I have seen and used these over the years and have wanted one for the longest time. I had a specific need for one recently, and after borrowing one from a friend I decided to purchase my own. It was on sale for a lower price than I had seen it before, so that made it even better! I am in the trades, and my fellow workers and I have used these for years. The information is accurate and quick to retrieve. I usually internet search the information and sift through various sites to get what I need, while my buddies are punching the keys and getting the information immediately. Anyone that has ever laid out a rolling offset will know that this can be a challenge, especially when using unknown angles or fittings that have to be cut to make a specific travel, advance or roll. This calculator can do all of these things for you. Conversions are a snap, and during these processes there is a lot more information that can be accessed. The directions are very in depth, and there was a pocket manual included that fits into an opening on the back of the calculator so you have it at the ready when in the field, etc. I can't say enough about these calculators. This is the first one I have owned, but I have used them for a long time. I can't wait to toss the old scientific calculator and put this front and center on my desk. There are apps also available, but with a company provided cell phone, I didn't want to risk losing the app at some point... Hey, you never know :)

I think it’s a little high priced personally, but it does come with a few instruction manuals, pocket size quick reference. Not a fan of the case, but for someone who might be out in the field or outside working it would work for them better probably. I work in an office so I would have preferred a different case on it. But it works well, easy to read and handle. It’s got everything I need on there for angles/degrees, it’s got other things on there that I don’t have the slightest clue how to use but someone out there could find it useful so I included pictures of the keys. 5/5 pretty happy with it. Came in a timely manner

Great tool for the job site.

They have apps on the phone that do the same thing but on a job site your hands are dirty, you have gloves on and it makes taking out your expensive phone running the risk of dropping it just for a few calculations a hassle. With this You just pull it out do some offsets put it back in your pocket and your good to go. I took off the case because the material made it hard to slip in and out of my pocket and having to flip up the cover was bothering me. Makes it more prone to breaking but I’ve dropped it, have gotten dust on it, banged around in my tool bag and it works like a champ still.

A must have for any jourpipefitter

This is an excellent tool for a pipefitter as myself working on ship repair, sometimes going around equipment, ventilation, pipe, cable, or other obstructions on the overhead. bending tube at different angles, rolling offsets, combination angles, this really makes the job much easier

If you are working with piping in any fashion, this tool is a MUST HAVE. Talk about effective, efficient, and accurate! This calculator will increase absolutely anybody's productivity and very simply put will practically pay for itself in just a short time from when first take it out of the box. It's a no-brainer. Easy to use and very hassle free.

Excellent for anyone doing advanced pipe fitting takes the hassle out of remembering all those different formulas and is very easy to use after a short time as well comes highly recommended.

Avoid errors of pipe measurement conversions by using this plumbers calculator.

Love this calculator. I am taking Maths for Plumbing and it makes it so simple to enter and do maths with imperial and metric measurements and at the press of a button I can get answer in factions or decimal (imperial or metric) formats by pressing a button. I see classmates doing pipe calculations and struggling with doing conversions and making errors while I press a couple of buttons and my answer is automatically converted. Once you internalize the maths, trigonometry and geometry functions calculations of center-center pipe-lengths are a breeze for most types of pipe and all types of fitting angles. This tool takes the load of worrying about convention of measurements and let's you focus on the rules of plumbing for each type of material. I previously used a regular calculator to calculate pipe lengths and made lots of errors doing conversions. Now if I do a manual calculation I can quickly check my answer using this tool. Will have to review again when I finish the whole course. I am halfway thru.

anyone dealing with pipe or even any blue collar industry can greatly benefit from this calculator, I use it on a daily basis and it saves me tons of time & headache ( and that's just as good as money in my pocket) Highly recommend to any new apprentices or old time journey men, worth its weight in gold

This is a great trades calculator. I have only scratched the surface with this so far. I am in HVAC and wanted something that could do calculations easily. It works great. No complaints at all.
