Not magnetic tips...that's Ok

This is a substantial ratcheting screwdriver. It has a nice weight to it and the ratcheting mechanism is beautifully smooth, very well made. While not magnetic the bit selection included expands most common screw heads and every one stores in the handle. Spend the little extra and skip the cheap Chinese drivers.

Throw all of your other screwdrivers away

Incredibly handy, works great, durable bits, couldn't ask for more. I recommend them to anyone that doesn't need to apply insane amounts of torque or use their tools as pry bars. I'm looking at you, lazy mechanics.

Decent, but the ball retainer for bits really annoys me.

A decent screwdriver that is hampered by the choice of the ball bearing retainer for bits rather than magnetic. 80% of the time I use it I think I have the bit seated, only to have it fall out when I tilt the screwdriver down. Worse, my kids borrowed it fairly early in my ownership and had a similar problem, resulting in the most used bit getting lost in the lawn and me having to trace down a replacement. I also find the ratchet selector too easy to bump and get in the wrong setting. However, it does come with a decent selection of bits and an ergonomic shape, and a good bit holder. However, of the 4 multi-bit ratcheting screwdrivers I have, this is the last one I reach for, despite being towards the higher end of the price range.

Great feeling screwdriver, but... major drawback

Got this screwdriver as ive recently picked up a bunch of Channellock tools that were very good. The screwdriver build quality seems pretty good, and it feels like it will be a good long lasting tool. 225 lb of torque seems pretty strong while wrenching something by hand. Have just gotten my hands on it, will post update later on how well it actually does while using it. However... my major complain and drawbackt: while standard 1/4" size, it uses custom bits with a ball/detent pin and NON MAGNETIC BIT HOLDER. You dont realize how useful this is if you have used other screwdrivers that have it as a "standard feature". I did not see this anywhere in the description or any of the photos (i guess marketing rotated all the bits so you cant actually see this, to look nicer). Although there was another review that said the same thing about non magnetic holder. This means if you loose or break one of the bits, you are either hunting for more of the same type, or you are SOL because the bit holder is non magnetic, and does not hold standard 1/4" bits in place. Never mind if you have your own bits you want to use in this. Because of this, i would keep this only as a home use tool, or something you wouldnt use often that you rely on the bits. I wouldnt use this at a work setting without finding an easy replacement bits. If you need this feature, I recommend looking elsewhere like Picquic, Milwaukee or literally almost any other multi bit screwdriver that has a magnetic bit. I'm sure its a fine and solid tool, however because it doesnt have a standard magnetic tip to use other bits, i would not recommend this.

Best Screwdriver I've Ever Owned

I've had this for a few years now, and it's still working as well as the day I bought it. The bits are great quality, and haven't worn down with use. Most importantly, the ratcheting mechanism great. Not only is it easy to select (just hold the collar and twist the screwdriver in the direction you'll be screwing), but it hasn't broken or gone wonky like every other one I've owned. The in-handle bit storage is amazing and easy to use. There's not much else to consider. A few people seem bothered by the bits and rheir fitting not being standard, and the tip not being magnetized, but neither has bothered me at all. This is my forever screwdriver.

Too expensive, bits are not magnetized.

This screwdriver is easy to use, but I expected magnetized bits at this price – not good value for money. Without the magnetized bits handling screws is more difficult, especially in areas where fingers won't fit. I would consider returning this item, but I already used it. If you are here from the Wirecutter recommendation, I would suggest not buying since it is too expensive and lacks an essential feature for this price point.
