ok for 2015 kl but
I installed this on my wifes 2015 KL. The install went smooth but this is definitely lacking some. The instructions suck and they tell you to do it basically backwards from the way that would be easiest. You need 1/4" and 3/8" split loom to do this correctly. You need to take the 8mm bolts out of the bottom of the bumper facia, the 7m screws out of the exhaust tips as well as the clips along the bottom of the bumper. Unlike most of these you also have to power this thing - there is a 12V socket on the back corner panel and a nice rubber grommet to run the wires through right there. This is by far eaiser then trying to run a wire to the font on this type of vehicle - its not like a framed vehicle that has provisions for those kind of things. there is just and i mean JUST enough wire to hook this thing up and the pig tail to the trailer ends up being pretty short but at least you wont drag it. once you have the bumper facia open there are provisions for cable ties you can use to run the wire to the passenger side light to keep them tucked up out of the way - go over the bumper not under it. make sure you put this in split loom to protect it. Use a piece of mechanics wire to fish it up inside the quarter panel The wire for the drive side goes straight up and you can zip tie the box thing right there in the corner there are a couple holes for this already The wires for the power to the box are oddly colored don't screw them up once you cut off the ring terminal White is ground, black is positive. The trailer run put in 3/8 spit loom and run it back over the bumper and just zip tie it to the receiver and come out the hole that you inevitably cut for the hitch you put on. It would be best to do this at the same time as the hitch - i already had the hitch for a bike rack and added this later Solder the wires you splice and use marine heat shrink (has the glue in it) or you will find the next time you go to use this it will likely be flakey - crimp connectors are a joke anyplace that actually has winter with salted roads. The install took about 90 mins with clean up. This is better then the once you have to splice into the lights but having to find power for the thing is definitely annoying

Works as Advertised
This wiring system was fairly easy to wire up, but make sure you watch a video tutorial on how to install and watch all the way through before starting. The hardest part is running the power wire to the front of your Jeep. If you do not like to cus. Hire some one else to install it...lol Note: I do not have a car lift. If your lucky enough to have one, well your golden! Once I got it all wired up. It worked great the first time. I did not have to troubleshoot anything when I was done nor had to extend any wiring. Plenty of wire.

Worked great
I added this to my Jeep and it works great. Feeding the connectors up through the rear quarter panels was not easy, especially the right side. The large bulky Jeep connector was a pita to feed through from the bottom up. A good upgrade to the product might be to allow a smaller connector which can connect to the unit, so you feed the connection down from the top. I also found a large gauge live power bundled up in the back left. It was tucked up under the rear quarter, not sure what it's planned intent for, but it wasn't connected. So I used that to power the unit instead of running the wire to the battery. Works great!

Works as designed and easy to install
I installed a trailer hitch on my 2017 Cherokee Trailhawk and needed a wiring harness. I opted this this 4-pole harness due to its simplicity of installation. The most "difficult" part was threading the power cable from the rear up to the battery...my Cherokee wasn't on a lift, so I had so slide around on my back to feed the wire to the front. But outside of that, it was a very simple installation with plugs that connect to the existing stock light plugs and a fuse and connector that goes to the battery.

Works as it should.
We purchased a new Jeep and we added a hitch so we needed wiring harness.

Great kit, professional looking install
Very good kit. High quality. Has everything needed to do a professional looking job for 1/3 the cost. I encourage you to watch some you tube videos on others installing them before attempting yourself. Also, some rigid plastic tubing or fiberglass fish tape will help you pull the ends through your panels and tail light grommets. This install is not for the hurry up and get it done. Give yourself plenty of time to do this project. This kit is really good and provides you everything except tape and basic tools to get it done. Paired it up with my Draw-tite hitch also purchased on Amazon.com.
