Odd fit

I'm 5'10, was ~140lbs at time of making this pattern, and my shoulders aren't narrow, but the neckline/shoulders of this pattern are shockingly wide. Definitely recommend just making the bodice in muslin or some other inexpensive fabric first so you can see what modifications you need. Otherwise, lovely pattern, not too hard to follow, good result.

Great flattering pattern for larger people

The bell sleeves, when you follow the pattern exactly, open up on the elbow instead of the crook of your arm. We took the bell off and reattached it so it opens where your arm bends, at the crook. It's hard to explain without pictures. At any rate, when attaching the bell part of the sleeve, I recommend not following the pattern markings, but put the costume sleeve on the person it's for, and mark where you want to place the bell before you sew it. It will save you time and head ache. Otherwise the pattern is great. I got the largest size, and then had to size up in some areas and down in others, and ended up with a beautiful dress for my friend going to a Medieval wedding. I will post pictures from my phone.

Great pattern, easy to use

I used this for a Ren Fair dress and loved it! Very elegant design and the pattern was easy to understand and use. I had the help of an experienced person as I've never touched a pattern before in my life and may have struggled a bit on my own but I believe you could figure it out okay if you've never used one.

Gave a great finished result, but slightly tricky.

A great pattern for my wife, although some of the instructions were a bit vague. Be aware that the sizing is slightly generous, so you may need to adjust to fit.

Ummm crikey

Well I love the idea of making a medieval dress, but my goodness when I opened up the pattern...I read every word, examined every instruction, and completely failed to understand any of it. To be fair I'm a novice dressmaker, so I'd guess this is for the more experienced, less intimidated of those sewers out there. I'm sure it'll look amazing when I finally figure out what size I need, and where to cut!

No es lo indicado... al menos exactamente.

El producto no está descrito como es debido. Para empezar todo está en inglés o francés. No hay tallajes en centímetros ni siquiera indica la conversión TU-EE--UK correctamente Para seguir, indica la cabecera Talla Universal L a XXL pero es incorrecto. El patrón es de la S a la XL lo cual no corresponde a lo indicado. si tienes una talla 48eur este patrón NO TE SERVIRÁ ya que la talla europea llega a la 46. no hablemos si gastas una XXL (50 o 52) NI HABLAR. Para explicarme; Las correspondencias de tallas serían TABLA DE EQUIVALENCIAS DE LAS TALLAS DE MUJERES T. UNI T. EUR. T.
