Great piece but very big!!
Just wanted to share this photo for any divers on the petite side so you’re aware that you might not be able to carry it on your wrist! Still a solid piece of gear but I’ve got it tightened to the last hole so I’ll probably have to keep it elsewhere

Get me home in zero vis!
I use this for megalodon teeth diving off the west coast of south Florida. Unlike the east coast, digging around in gravel and silt bottom is a 2 foot vis business. High visibility, big dial, tough and accurate. Gets me out and allows me to navigate every kinda geometry possible with no problem. A bargain .

Scuba diving Compass
This is an inexpensive compass; but it appears to be well worth the money. It has great accuracy and is very easy to read. I would recommend this item to others.

Not for night diving
The Fluorescent dial does not stay lit very long. The glow quickly fades within a few minutes. Had to continuously shine my light on it to see direction. Decided to use my console due to the hassle. The accuracy wasn't to far off but definitely cheaply made. You get what you pay for.

Value
Decent value, but keep in mind that the window in the side is small and doesn't show the reciprocal heading.

It is a lower end product but it works. It is just what I wanted
It is a bargain priced item but it works. However you usually get what you paid for

This compass will get you there, but not willingly
The media could not be loaded. This compass will point north, but only if held very steady and exactly level (a bit tricky under water). A slight tilt of the wrist can cause the needle to shift up to 90 degrees. This can be very disorienting under water (as I quickly learned). I had to validate heading with my buddy before I was confident we were heading the right direction. The unit is nice, the strap is secure, it is easy to read and glows in the dark. When it comes to navigation, it doesn’t leave you very confident in your heading. I’m personally going to return this for one I feel I can trust and rely on, even if it costs a bit more. (I also checked to see if it pointed to the thing I wanted most, but unless that thing lies over yonder horizon, it assuredly does not.)

Poor quality, you risk to lost yourself under the water.
The response is very very slow, it stucks sometimes and you must shake it, 2 different readings will give you 2 different north directions, it was completely useless under the water, i had to buy a Suunto sk-8. I really don't recommend you to buy this compass, it is a matter of life and death here. I had to go to surface several times, to orient myself, the compass was completely useless, because of the very slow response and the different readings.

Don't Bother
This truly is the worst piece of craftsmanship ever. If you WANT to get lost underwater, then this bad boy is for you!!! The North indicator points roughly 20 - 45 degrees off of true North (verified against 3 other compasses), and it never reads North the same twice. But, you only need a bearing, right? Set the bezel to North, descend, and go. Then, turn 180 degrees, and the North arrow should be 180 degrees from when you turned, heading you back to where you started..right? Here's where the fun really starts. It doesn't rotate 180 degrees...or it might...or it might go past 180...there's the beauty...You never really know. So, now that you're down below, using your air, and you're disoriented...this gem of an instrument will compound your confusion even more. Sounds exciting, no?

Not so good for hunting.
I was hoping to use this compass for hunting and found it too bulky.

Doesn't point north.
Doesn't do the only thing it's supposed to... point north. It's not even consistent. Move through 360 and north point in different direction.
