Be smarter than the other Dodge Guys - check these first and buy spares!

This guy sold me a 2001 2WD Dodge Ram with The Cummins for a steal of a price all because it needed this $8 fuse. These go out commonly in the Dodges, so buy a couple and check yours first if your rig isn't charging. Saved me a boatload and I got a Cummins Truck for way cheaper all because the guy wasn't very smart.

Exactly what I needed

Truck was not starting after replacing battery and alternator. After some research found it was likely the alternator fuse which looked like the contacts were no longer touching. Replaced the old broken 140amp fuse in my 2000 Dodge Ram 1500 5.9L V8 and it started right up! Fit perfectly and much cheaper than original OEM part.

used this in 2004 insight after an optima yellow top went insane on me and took the precious fuse out with it on its trip to the moon or something. i was worried this would be chintzy but it’s lasted A-OK

Bussmann 40 amp

It is what it is, a 40 amp fuse. Took two small bolts out to remove the old fuse, then used the bolts to install this fuse.

it took about 5 mins to install this product i'm still waiting on the 100a link fuse before i try to start the car up otherwise everything is going perfect so far thanks to amazon products :) 5 stars
