Defective Trailer But I Agree With The Hype
I purchased this to pull around our 5 year old daughter with special needs after reading all the amazing reviews. In effort to save some money, I found one through Amazon Warehouse in Like New condition. When it arrived, it was clear that it was never opened and sold through Amazon Warehouse due to some damage to the box. I believe our trailer had a manufacturing defect as I could not fold it open all the way. I was struggling to pull it open enough in order to put it in lock position and absolutely could not do it. I figured maybe I was not doing it correctly so I watched several YouTube videos. They all made it look effortless and meanwhile, I still had the same predicament. I eventually figured out that the fabric was so tight, it was preventing me from opening it all the way. I was able to fully unfold it only by undoing two of the velcro straps, but then I could not properly strap the velcro back in place once the trailer was in locked in position. Before sending it back, I managed to MacGyver it using some spare velcro laying around so that I could at least test it out. I understand the hype... it was such a great trailer on smooth paved surfaces and my daughter absolutely loved it. I was impressed by the weight and it was very easy to pull. It was quiet and was very smooth-riding while pulling it around on the streets in our neighborhood. We then took it to a local park and this is where we identified the shortcoming of not having shocks. We hit a stretch on the park path where there were breaks in the asphalt about every 50 feet. These breaks were fairly jarring to go over on our bikes. With the first two, my daughter didn't know what to make of it. By the third or fourth, she started screaming and crying hysterically. I turned around as I went over the next few and saw her head shaking pretty severely, to the point where I was concerned about her neck and back. It was clear that the lack of shocks would not work on this path. We also took it over grass and it was the same.... my daughter's head was shaking around so much she looked like a bobblehead. My daughter is typically a thrill-seeker who loves bumps and jumping up and down, so her reaction told us that this trailer was not right for her. While I had to return ours due to the defect, I don't think our issues with the bumps would have been any different had ours not been defective. Unfortunately, this trailer didn't meet our needs and I had to put a big hole in my pocket by purchasing a more expensive trailer with shocks. But I do agree with the other positive reviews and think this trailer is a great option for anyone looking to pull their kids around on paved surfaces.

Great option when your little riders get tired
We shopped around for a while before finally deciding on the Burley Bee. We are not a family of cyclists by any means. However we were taking a week trip to Acadia in ME and knew we would need a backup for our 2 and 5 year old little riders. We knew they would get tired and need a break from riding their bikes. The Burley Bee is very easy to attach to our bike and stores away beautifully. You will need to check and make sure the pieces are compatible with your bike. It attaches to one but not both of our bikes...so luckily for me, my hubs had to do all the work! ;) It's a bit of a tight squeeze for both kids to sit inside. but they are pretty comfortable. No complaints when we hit a few bumps along the way. We were even able to strap my youngest's glider bike to the top when she wore out. It's definitely a bit of a struggle to tow this thing around on anything other than a flat road. But like I said, we do not bike that often. I wish we used it more often than we do as it was not cheap. If you ride a lot, it's a great option!

Nice solid bike trailer
The good. This is a solid bike trailer that assembles and folds down easily. It fits kids nicely with a nice amount of room in the back. My girls love it! For the most part it has been engineered solidly and after one year it is still running smoothly. The bad. The fabric color faded quickly! Over the end of the summer ... the color was noticeably faded. See attached pictures for the amount of fading over only ONE year. The fabric that wraps around the aluminum faded the worst and almost looks like it was completely bleached. I live in one of the cloudiest states not far from Canada. So when it comes to sun...I definetely don't live anywhere extreme. This part was actually quite disappointing and hope Burley can make improvements to this.

Great trailer, worth it
Got the single seater, and it's excellent. Easy to set up, pull, etc, and my daughter seems very comfortable - she loves going for rides! The storage space is perfect for our backpacks as we head to preschool/work. We got this as a replacement for a very old two-seater Burly Bee. We got it second hand more than 5 years ago and if we and the previous owners had both taken care of it better (keep covered, inside garage, replace tires), I think it would still be in great condition. Really, it would still be fine if I replaced the wheels and fixed some netting (just sun bleached). So yes, I'd say Burly Bee ages we'll and is well worth the cost. The improvements on the new model seem great, easier to use and absolutely as durable.

Ultimate Easy-To-Use Toddle Bike Carrier
Love this bike carrier for our toddler. I’ve been researching different brands and models for a bike carrier since last September, and I knew based on reviews and brand reputation that this was the right one for our son. I was new to cycling and wanted something durable, portable, comfortable and stylish. The Burley Bee is the total package for a toddler bike trailer if you don’t need the versatility of having a stroller as well. It’s easy to fold and transport in a small car (takes less than 3 minutes to detach, fold, and stow away safely) but it’s also well built and durable and seems very dependable. The carrier is smooth on the road and the bike paths I have been on so far. The extra storage space in the back is great also, and our son absolutely LOVES going on bike rides with me now. He actually asks to go every day, no matter what the weather is like. I rode when it was chilly out (45-50°) and he stayed warm with the wind/rain guard down. I have not used it in the rain, but not because I don’t think it would do well, it’s because I don’t want to ride in the rain… Overall, worth the money and I am very happy with this purchase. I wish I would’ve bought this when it was on sale last winter ($50 off).

Brilliant !
Fantastic product , quick and easy to assemble and no trouble to collapse up and down . Study enough to be safe for the children age 2 and 3 but so light to pull along , would highly recommend.

Superb piece of kit!
You can immediately tell that this bike wasn't made in Asia! The components are well put together, and the trailer itself is almost assembled in the box. It's reassuring that the one part you do have to connect, is quite stiff and difficult, which results in it's sturdiness. I honestly can't think of anything negative to say about this trailer. My kids are 5 yrs and 2yrs old and they love going to and from school in it. Worth every penny (£211) I paid for it.

Good trailer, tows really well
Good trailer, tows really well. Have only tried it with a 1 year old at the moment, it would be quite a squeeze for 2 children. It also has a really large boot area which can take a lot of stuff. You'll need a decent strong bike to tow it with, low gearing and preferably disc brakes as the total weight of bike, rider, trailer, offspring and stuff can weigh a lot.

Arrived damaged
I know this is a good quality product. This particular trailer was damaged on delivery. Luckily I noticed one damaged strap that holds up the child seats. I am returning and will thoroughly check the replacement and comment again. Update: replacement received within a few days - excellent service. For that I increase stars from 1* to 4*. Needs to be used before any increase to 5*.
