Good look for my Explorer.
Fit perfectly. Shims provided to insure tight fit but the 3M tape peeled of entirely when I tried to remove the protective cover on the tape. I'm sure can use another means of securing the shims. Plastic end caps don't appear to be very substantial but so far so good. Well worth the price.

Comes in handy
I'm not sure how sturdy it is But I'm 250lbs and I can bounce on it. I would call it a good buy for the money

Good product
Product is great! Fits the standard tow hitch on most POV’s. The caps are rubber and can come off and the black coating is on the fragile side, but it is quite strong does the job. I’m quite satisfied and would recommend this product.

Returning for Second Try - Bad Aligned Hitch Pin holes: Second try is the charm
Edit: Got replacement step, this time holes line up for hitch pin. Increasing rating by one, sell still needs to work on quality assurance so returns are not needed. The holes for the hitch pin are not aligned, would have to re-drill to install. Looks to be off alignment to much for a re-drill, bad QA. Returning for replacement to see if this was just a bad one. Have seen other reviews with this same complaint, fingers crossed.

A little peace of mind.
Bought for an extral layer of protection as much as easier access to truck bed.Hitch Holes lined up just fine the first try. Using in conjunction with CURT (2.5" to 2") reducer sleeve and locking hitch pin(3.5") - both items were also acquired from amazon. There's some very minor play/rattle BUT this bully came with a couple of hard plastic shims that stopped the noise. I'll mention that there was a little rust on the inside of the tubing(figured on applying some undercoating to it), but the exterior looks great/natural to truck. Glad I bought it.

Trips fault sensors
Looks amazing and is bright. Functions as stated except it trips the "trailer sensor fault" for left and right turn signals on my 2022 ford explorer patrol vehicle... Not a deal breaker but slightly annoying. Good value for the money.

Not bad.
Pretty cool product. It's not built to last forever, and could use less plastic in it's construction, but it works well, and the LED lights work very well, and are very bright. Definitely adds safety to your vehicle at night. It wires right up and works properly, unlike some cheapo hitch lights out there. I recommend running a line of clear caulking or flexible glue around the perimeter of the LED strip, to prevent it from falling off or peeling.

Product is fair to good!
I've had the product for 2 years. I glued the end caps to make sure they wouldn't come off. So far the rubber covering is holding up to all weather conditions and road salt. Still looks good! The brake light didn't work from the start in my 2018 F150. Kept getting signal error in-dash no matter what I did including changing the connector. I ended up cutting two of the wires so the LEDs only illuminate. Surprisingly, the lights still work after experiencing 2 cold winters. No one has ridden into the back of me, so I guess it's a pretty good deterrent.

Amazing product … do NOT forget to buy a locking pin too ( this comes with NO pin)
All cars / trucks should come with this! Had a guy hit my last suv while on his phone, had a rental for 2 weeks and over $3k getting painted, repaired and resetting all the sensors for adaptive cruise. Lesson learned and for under $100, it’ll damage their car / truck and leave yours worst case with a scuff on this. Also great to step on when putting golf shoes on. Hard yes for me !

the wiring is substandard
I like the look, I like the fact that it was a sturdy step But I was incredibly disappointed that the brake light gave out after a couple of weeks of use. I took it apart. Found the union join that will not conduct electricity to one side, found a plastic connecter that was thoroughly corroded in just a couple of weeks. From my experience, when those connecters go bad like that, that quickly flex paste or acid paste whatever you would like to call, it has gotten onto the connection somehow probably during the soldering process I bought this step specifically for the brake light, and I am truly disappointed at this point in the product

Looks good and serves its purpose
I bought this for extra protection for my rear bumper. Looks good. Doesn’t rattle in my application. (Dodge Ram) Looks good. I realize it won’t last or look as good after several winter seasons exposed to the elements of Canadian winters…but that’s OK. I’ll buy another.
