Good fabric, terrible packaging

Nice color and quality of fabric. However, do not dismiss the comments regarding the fold creases created from the shipping packaging. Very deep creases took me about 1.5 hours of ironing to get them all flat. Even after ironing flat, you can still see the crease marks from the folds. Knowing this, I would’ve spent the extra money to buy a speed cloth that comes rolled to avoid creases altogether. Other than that, cloth is nice, performs well, and was easy to work (after ironing) with in my poker table build.

What To Expect

This is what to expect when you receive your package. As you can see in the pictures the creases are pretty pronounced. It also comes with instructions on how to get them out. I’ve seen many reviews saying it’s hard to get them out, and I’ve also seen many reviews saying it’s not that bad. For me it wasn’t that bad. Over all the material is like a heavy duty plastic weave and seems to be very good quality. If you’re handy I recommend this speed cloth.

They call it speedcloth for a reason!

I used this material for my first poker table build, because of the description of how durable it is. Some of my players can get a little rowdy, and there have been a few spilled drinks at my games in the past, so I thought this would be just the thing. The cloth is very sharp looking, and the color really pops! But, in case you don't have any knowledge of speedcloth, it feels nothing like felt. The good part about that, is no lint rolling or vacuuming is required to keep it looking new and fresh. You also don't have to worry about spills, because they just bead up, like on a waxed car. I can't say anything about stains, because I haven't ran into that yet, but it is supposed to be stain resistant. The cards really slide on this material! It is very easy to slide them from one end of the table to the other, with just a simple pitch. I can't count the number of times I've pitched them under the armrail. Now, for the bad, not really bad, but this material is a little too slick, if you like to spread your cards for inspection, or when you're spreading the flop. Traditional felt has just enough friction to make this activities easy. If you like to deal like your at the casino, it will take some practice to get decent at it. One last thing, this stuff seems durable enough, that I doubt I'll ever have to replace it.

Pattern in not straight

I ordered two pieces for two tables, I needed them right away for a project (new league starting in a week). The product arrived in great shape and overall is very good. The problem I had is the diamond pattern is WAY off on both cuts. The diamond pattern is perfect along the "long edge". But the pattern fades off to the left on the "short side". Again, the pattern is perfect horizontally but vertically the pattern shifts or migrates vertically. So if you need the pattern to be perfectly square you may have some issues. It is not a big deal, and the pattern is certainly subtle. I heat-pressed my logo into the cloth for my table and it makes the "shift" much more noticeable. Without a logo, I am sure I would have NEVER noticed. But for a certain amount of the folks this can be a HUGE issue. I considered contacting the supplier, but my table had to be done for my event and my logos were already affixed (the logos were very expensive to produce, way more than the cloth). Again, a small issue to most but a HUGE issue to some!

The best poker felt you can have

I've had this new speed cloth poker felt a little over a month now and let me tell you it is the best I ever had. I had felt before that I brought from a Jo-Ann Fabrics and nothing compares to the speed cloth. The cards travel so smoothly from one side to the other and IT's WATER RESITANT. I did a little test with the left overs. I poured water on the felt and the water just beaded up and sat there then you just take a paper towel or any other towel to soak up the water and you are ready to go. It looks incredible. Before I received a lot of compliments for my poker table. Now with this poker felt, every one of my friends want my table. My poker table looks awesome. This product is a must for any poker table. One more thing, I think the price is right. I paid $39.99 on Amazon, compared to the $24.95 that I paid for the cheap one at Jo-Ann's. It's worth the extra mile to get this speed cloth. I'm very happy with this purchase.

Be prepared to get frustrated during installation...

Not a fan of the creases caused by receiving the fabric folded. However, after a few passes with a steamer, the majority of them came out. Had to pull it extremely tight when applying the fabric to the surface of the table to avoid seeing the few remaining wrinkles. With that said, it has held up quite well and makes dealing the cards much easier. I would recommend this product...be prepared to get frustrated during the installation.

better than expected. only real critiscm is when packing would be better on a roll. small crease in when folded and packed. Took a bit of effort to remove crease.

Suited Felt was Perfect!

Felt is strong and a decent thickness, it is easy to work with but I see this felt holding up for a long time based on the quality and thickness. I seen a few others commenting on the wrinkles or creases in the fabric, these were ironed out and once it was stretched and stapled, you can no longer see a single crease on the table. It also comes with very clear instructions on how to get the wrinkles out which only takes minutes with water and an Iron. Thanks again!

Perfect felt for cards to slide, love it.

Was great to make my poker table. Very good fabric for cards to slide. 1st order wasnt right, only received a sample lol. But I got a full sized carpet not long after contacting the seller. Very good quality and purchase experience in the end.
