Not as useful as I had hoped

After reading the first review I bought two of these sets, one for me, one for my Mom. They're awkward so you can't keep them on the sink next to the sponges without looking funny. The other problem is the yellow brush is stiff and not very useful, the metal brush is so hard it scratched everything I used it on. Steel wool is much more useful as it's a little softer and doesn't scratch like this metal brush stick does. You're better off using a BBQ brush on your pans. I like that these are made in the USA, other than that, they're worthless.

I expected better from Brushtec!

Very dissatisfied and disappointed!! The bristles on the wire brush are thin and NOT a full head of bristles!! Wear the head attach to the handle is thin and broke on second use, cleaning the burn pot on my pellet stove. The plastic one is little better. I use it to clean my cast iron pans. Now the head on that brush, after using it four times, is starting to break. I expected better from Brushtec!

These are great. OK

These are great. OK, i burn a fair bit of things in my pots. Also have some dexterity issues. These have great handles, easy to get a grip on to get the burned food off. Looking for another set.

The best thing since sliced bread, well, for cleaning anyway.

I first bought these some years ago from a catalog company that has since gone out of business. Originally, I just bought a set for me. Then I went back and bought about half a dozen to give as stocking stuffers. Now, a few years later, I'm back again because friends have asked for more. I LOVE these. Now I'm not a big clean freak, and in general my kitchen wins no awards for spotlessness. And many of my pots just looked pretty darn deplorable. The metal scrubber is amazing. It cleaned at least two pots that I thought were hopelessly stained. But make no mistake, it is actually like using steel wool to wear away the surface of the pot -- potentially including metal -- to get to a new fresh clean layer of metal. But I'm sold. And the plastic scrubber works just as well on hard burnt on messes on surfaces that can't take abrasion with metal.

Perfect! When I saw I knew it would solve my problem

As soon as I saw these brushes I knew they will solve my problem. They are perfect to wash out tall coffee mugs that have some crime stuck in the crevices. These coffee mugs are at work where there is no dish washer to run them through, but these little brushes do a great job! I also tried as they were designed - using to get off charred food stuck to cooking surfaces, and they do extremely well getting into small crevices. The set includes two brushes: a steel brush and plastic brush with stiff brisles. Steel brush is perfect for non delicate surfaces such as cast iron. I also used it on my coffee bug. The plastic brisles brush is good for delicate surfaces. I am very pleased with this set!
