Noticeably better quality than other NMO mounts
I purchased 2 or 3 other Amazon NMO mounts, the quality just wasn’t there. This one is nice, definitely worth a few dollars more. It arrived with the cable coiled nicely, instead of bunched up tightly like the other cheap ones. This is much better for the cable and doesn’t leave kinks in it once it is laid out. The PL-259 connector has a very nice plastic strain relief on it. The mount itself has a much better “feel” to it than others, it has a little bit of weight. The soldered connection is covered securely. Highly recommend this mount.

Bought this 3 times!!!
I wouldn't cheap out when it comes to NMO mounts. The last thing you want is a leak in your vehicle or to ruin the paint on your vehicle. This NMO mount works great for me, and I'd highly recommend it. I would also recommend that you buy some silicone grease so that it helps insure a waterproof seal around the O-ring.

Using for GMRS radio. Couldn’t be happier!

Good to go
Added this to my 2013 explorer interceptor after winter whipped out my antenna. It fit the previous hole good and signal was the same as before worth the money for a flush mount antenna

Nice NMO mount with quality coax attached and weatherproofed
I like this mount. I've installed many Larsen NMO mounts. This is my first Tram/Browning mount. It was easier to hold centered in the hole while tightening. The coax is well shielded, yet very flexible. The weatherproofing where the coax attaches seems pretty good. The threads where the antenna attaches are easier to get aligned with the threads in the antenna (using a Laird antenna at the moment).

Well.... It only took 2 years of this sitting on the desk
Finally installed this after I had sheared off the 4 foot firestik 2 meter antenna.... Thats a story for another time. Drilled the 3/4 inch whole thru the roof (And almost threw up.... lol), and here is the trick with this one... You have to feed it in connector side first (At least I did) I also had to tighten it down twice to get the o ring to seat on the roof line and not have gap, which it finally did. matched with a TRAM antenna its a great performer. The matched set had an SWR of 1.3 on the low end and just got lower as I went up the scale. I would buy this again....

Perfect for GMRS radio
Install is only as easy as to what and where you're installing cable. For me, through fire wall plug on driver side of 2021 Jeep JL Automatic. I believe fire wall plug is not available on manual. I ran cable to front of cab and left extra under dash panels. Sealed firewall hole with flextape but you could also modify plug and reinstall. Antenna mount end attached to my mounting bracket easily. Bracket was specifically for GMRS cable end which is larger than CB I believe. No negative reception issues.

Rewiew by ham & commercial radio operator of 53 years..
Been a ham and commercial 1st class radiotelephone operator (now lifetime General radiotelephone operator) for 53 years... Better quality than when I was buying from Motorola or soldering them up myself. My only caveat would not using them over 500Mhz, because the PL-259 is not recommended for that type of use, and why cut it off? Buy one with the right connector and rated for 900-1200 Mhz, if you need that. Perfect for HAM-COMMERCIAL LAND MOBILE- GMRS... FINAL thought --when mounting in roof center through sheet metal, you can add a 3/4" finder washer inside the cab to strengthen the roof. I found a package of fender washers that were 1-5/8 OD.. I had to drill out the center hole with a step drill to 3/4 inch and it all went together just fine. So I have a fender washer backing that thin sheet metal the auto manufacturers are using now. Recommendion- BUY..

Worked for Me
For an inexpensive choice, this cable appears well made and was super easy to install. I had no connection issues with any of my Larsen antennas. The connector for the radio is soldered and moulded onto the end of the cable with a strain relief. If you need to route the cable through tight areas in your vehicle this will be an issue. The simple fix of course is to simply cut the connector off and solder on a replacement after you route the cable. Overall, a 5 star thumbs up for a simple mobile application.

Exactly what I needed
The cable arrived within 24Hrs of ordering and was exactly as advertised. 17 feet long and a PL259 connector on one end with an NMO on the other. Don't forget to unscrew the brass collar from the NMO to mount it on the vehicle bracket. Installation in my F150 was a synch and the cable is sufficiently pliable that I wasn't concerned too much about bent radius. For the money I paid, this is a no brainer to buy.

Wheres the mounting bracket ?
I bout this for my truck, I bought the appropriate antena for it as well, only problem is it did not come with anything to mount the antena to the truck. Does anyone know what or where I can get a universal mounting bracket for the antena ? I'm looking for one that can clamp onto the side of my hood on a 2019 Ram 1500. I called customer service and they apologized but could not point me in the right direction. They did give me a small discount and wished me luck on finding a solution. Any help muchly appreciated.

Poor quality!
The NMO mount is difficult to center in the hole and the copper ring scrapped the thread of the antenna i had to mount on. So i had to change it, lost one antenna and finally just kept the coax i had already pass through the car.

Work well but if you are using a Mount, might have a hard time getting a good connection.
Might have a hard time getting a good connection from the antenna... I had to grind the antenna base so that the middle connection touches the connector... Other then that, works well and super fast shipment
