An almost perfect bidet
Received last night, and proceed to install. I also took the opportunity to upgrade my shut-off valve and a new water supply line. (Took one hour). And the installation of the bidet took about the same. (from opening the box to my first test run of the bidet). Pretty easy installation. What I like about this bidet: I actually own a Lutus bidet that has far more features, but of course with far higher price tag. The Lotus bidet is starting to act weird after 7 years in service, so I decide to get a replacement, and after some research on Amazon I settled for this Brondell 300 model. I like the remote, pretty easy to follow. On the side of the bidet there's also a button for rare wash, I'm guessing it's for just in case the remote battery is out. The system cleaning button is also on the side, pressing that will run the cleaning for 2 minutes. The seat and the cover are both "soft landing" style, which is nice. The seat cover is also "sit-able", very convenient when I wash my dog in the tub. The parts are made with high quality material. The T-connector is well design, and even with a built-in brachet for you to "grab" with plier when installing the hose. The installation manual is well written and clear. What I don't like about this bidet: The water connector on the bidet itself is pointing sideways. It is very dangerous in my opinion. I could accidentally pressed on the water connector from top and break it. If brondell can come up with a new design to put the connector somewhere else, or put it downwards, or include an "L shape" adapter, or do what "Luxe brand" is doing, that the line is factory bolted into the seat/unit, that'd be awesome. Also, the cleaning mode's water seems to be weak. I'm not convinced it can clean the nozzles well with that slow stream. Also......The rare wash's water pressure seems a little weak, at least that's what I felt, but that could be just in comparison to other brands. The highest pressure level actually is strong enough to push some water into the rectum. (seriously), so I guess the water pressure is really not that much of an issue. = = = = = = = updated 1/17/2013 = = = = = = = = = = Brondell must have heard my complain. Now they're offering an angled waterline for hooking up between the seat and the T. This would make the connection much safer. [...] I'd upgrade my prior rating to 4 -1/2 if I can. I still can't give it 5 star because of the weak nozzle cleaning mode.

Did not last as long as we'd hoped
This seat, which we purchased in late 2019, started leaking in 2022 and we could not get it to stop leaking, despite sealing every place it looked like it might leak. So if three years seems like a reasonable amount of time for this product to last, it's awesome. If you expected it to last five or more, well. No.

While it worked, cleaner bum than ever
I have a baby. I have the choice of 4 million different baby wipes to clean her poop. At some point she will begin using the toilet on her own and i will teach her to regress and use dry paper to try to smear up as much poop as possible instead of the wet wipes she used much more effectively the day before. Anyway, after a trip to Japan where I overcame my innate macho American male fear of allowing anything near my bum hole ever, I tried the bidets out and immediately fell in love. Wiping a poopy butt w dry paper is archaically ridiculous in today’s age. So I bought this. At the time, I was a bit nervous to put it in (afraid it would leak) and put it off. Also, we were planning on remodeling our bathroom, so that was a nice excuse. I bought it in 8/2015 and it sat in a box until about 5/2017. I pulled it out of the box after our remodeling and stuck it on. Was easy to put in (I had an outlet added next to the toilet for it) but...as I feared, leaked a bit. I got some plumbers tape, which helped, and after a bit no more leaking. It worked! I liked it when it worked. Neither my wife nor I noticed much difference between the 2 different spray locations - with maneuvering, they ended up in about the same place anyway. Pressure was good, cleaned me well. Toilet paper use and wrist pain down to minimum. Seat and water warmer took a bit of time, longer than expected, but worked. I would turn it on, sit down, and by the time I was done, warm bum was starting. Too late for a man without poop patience, but there it was. No matter what, water always started cold, but would be warm by the end - again a bit late but there. I didn’t mind the cold water like I feared I would. Also, the amount of time the water sprayed before automatically turning off was a good length of time. So it sat in a box for nearly 2 years in a comfortable attic. Took it out in 5/2017 and enjoyed it thoroughly - seriously I did - until 10/2017 when, leaving it plugged in but off, it would start beeping incessantly and loudly until you unplugged it. This was annoying. But, if you unplugged t after each use, all was fine. HOWEVER! Starting last week, as soon as you plug it in, starts beeping and won’t function. I’m currently emailing Brondell - having a very pleasant email exchange that has been helpful and timely - and I’ve learned that it’s gonna need an overhaul that will require me taking it to get repaired (the number of beeps suggest it isn’t a simpler fix w one single part to replace) that will likely cost at least $120. He said, understandably, that the warranty has long ended, despite the fact that it’s only actually been used a few months. He was quite nice and apologetic about it - not enough power for that much passed time and all. Naturally, I’m figuring out what to do, I have to consider the quality of the product, the price I already paid for wetting my bum, and whether I’m foolish for paying another 60% of the price to fix something that has only worked for a few months and quite possibly continue with not working in the future, or forking the cash over for another bidet from a different company that I hope will be better manufactured and more trustworthy. This is a lot of money for the pleasure of less wiping. Tear

So so but does its main function well
I really wanted to love this because I had been looking forward to its installation for a long time. I do love the one rear spray function, it works very well though it is stationary, and the heated seat and water is really nice. The remote makes it easy to adjust the temperature and turn the spray on and off. But there are a number of things that just don't work well. The fit of the seat on the toilet is really awkward- it makes the opening of the toilet bowl smaller, which means it gets dirty really easily when the men in the house use it, and it raises the seat and sits you at an awkward angle. The "front" spray is nowhere near the front. And after use it seems like the whole seat is wet, front and back. Also, it just looks bad on my toilet, which may just be the style of toilet i have (also it would be better not to use this seat with a top flush toilet like i have, because you have to close the lid or reach over it to flush, and nobody likes closing the lid!). Also as you can see, the hose sticks out to the side so it makes that space unusable for my garbage can. Maybe i need a shorter hose? Overall I'm regretting this purchase, and maybe should have gone for a more expensive one with a wand that swings side to side, which would provide better cleaning.

works very well
This is my second one, the first one had all the bells and whistle for twice the money, it lasted many years, it was time for a new one decided to go with this one for half the price it works very well minus the dryer. the only con is the seat is smaller than my other one even though they were both elongated seats, Other than that its perfect

Be sure you have the features you want - no dryer
The Brondell Swash 300 enlongated bidet seat performs as advertised. We read several reviews before settling on this one, mainly because of price. We spend part of the year in south Texas and one called the Intelliseat sells through US Costco for $200. But they won't ship one to Canada. The Swash 300 has an aerated stream, which is supposed to make the stream of water feel less harsh. It seems well-constructed and the installation was easy. The pictorials in the manual were a help in assembling the washers and parts correctly. Water pressure, water temperature, and seat temperature are all adjustable and we have ours set the way we like it. There are no positioning controls so you must move yourself if you are slightly off-target. This not an issue with us as it is well-positioned. So, why the bidet experience? As I read in someone else's review somewhere, you wouldn't take a shower by rubbing yourself with dry paper towels, would you? The bidet experience is refreshing and you are CLEAN when you are done. But there is no dryer in this unit. Surprising, since the Intelliseat is $50-100 less (depending on where you buy it) and it has one. But it is not as bad as finishing your shower and discovering you are out of towels. A 30-second wait does wonders. We have no experience with higher-end equipment and budget was a major consideration. The lack of a dryer was a disappointment. But with this you are getting the bidet experience and it is worth having.

Game changer
The warm seat and water is an added benefit. Sizing and quality is good. Definitely recommend this , especially if you've never had a bidet before.

Another defected Bidet Swash 300
Since November 2020 I have ordered two elongated Bidet Swash 300. After two weeks each one has leaked - water coming from three areas at the back of the Bidet - not underneath. The mesh filter is clean and does not leak. I have followed your maintenance instructions. It leaks when the nozzle are engaged and when using the nozzle cleaning function on the side of bidet. Years ago I had a round Bidet Swash 300 with no problems. Please send shipping label and return my money. Thank you, Bernadette Meyers
