Great Rib Grill Stand
Got a new gas grill so had to have a better way to cook ribs than laying on the grill surface. This rack is excellent, stainless steel and very sturdy. Easily cleans in dishwasher, or you can scrape it with the grill brush as well. If you have a large rack of ribs that are very curved, you probably won't be able to get them in adjacent slots in the center. However, the end slots are really wide and will accomadate any rack. Also, you may have to put the "meat" end at the top and the bone end at the bottom. Regardless, it's easy to get your ribs in and out of the rack with a little forethought about spacing. I've used this now for about 12 slabs of ribs and it works great. I think you actually get a more even cooking temp on the rib surfaces, and you don't have to worry about them sticking to the grill. This rack makes it easy to move the entire rack to a differnt location on the grill for the temperature you want. The rack allows me to use my wireless grill thermometer, put the ribs on and go inside. No worries about frequent turning. I cook my ribs for about 1.5 hours at 250 degrees, then take the rack off the grill and take each rack of ribs (about 6 works great per rack) and dunk it in my BBQ sauce then put it back in the cooking rack. Makes it very easy to sauce the ribs and not burn them. I haven't tried it, but it might be difficult to get them fully sauced using a brush or mop, while they're in the grill rack. I highly recommend this rack for cooking your ribs ! Haven't tried it for roast yet, but from the design it should work perfect as well.

Fits in my smoker great!
I've used multiple times for pork ribs, dry rubbed Baby Back and St. Louis cuts, with excellent results each time. Due to the size of my smoker I was previously limited to one rack of ribs per shelf. Although I need to half the ribs (again my smoker size), I am able to get 7 half racks per (I bought two) by utilizing the space next to each handle. I also used it to oven cook a 4 bone prime rib. The added height resulted in a even browning and a overall better cook.

Worth the Price, will last a long time with cleaning after each use.
I first ordered the Rosie version at $39 and change. Despite being SS it felt flimsy. Returned it and bought this one for almost exactly the same price. What a difference, far heavier and thicker everywhere plus flater wider better handles (made XL to accommodate BBQ heat mitts), better quality and workmanship as well. Unlike most competitors' rib racks to cook a prime rib, whole chicken or turkey or such you place it on top of this rib rack rather than flipping it upside down to get at the curved part of the rack. That might not work if your grill is square and flat topped because the height of the turkey on top of this rack might touch the underside of your lid, but for a kettle it should work great. I was not compensated - this really is that good. Happy I found it.

Outstanding, well-built product
I love this thing, it's built like a Sherman tank. Big, solid, welded construction. Oddly enough, there are slots for only 5 rib racks. So if you are halving a typical slab, you get to BBQ 2-1/2 slabs? It really should have room for 6. That said, I have mixed feelings about vertical rib-rack BBQ-ing. If you try to do a full slab, it "flops" and the ribs touch each other. You really must limit your cooking with this item to either baby-backs or St. Louis style. Also, I found that my grill would cook the top of the ribs more than the bottom, which means I need to flip the ribs periodically - - again, a task made very difficult if cooking full slabs, emphasizing the limitation for baby-back/St.Louis applications only. The design of the rack wires has a "hammock" bow built in, and this is intriguing for roasting other items. I haven't tried it yet, but it obviously will work, and makes this a versatile BBQ tool.

A must for the griller's toolbox
I ordered this to go along with my new grill (Broil King 945354 Crown 20 Liquid Propane Gas Grill, Stainless Steel/Black ) as ribs are a family favorite. I was a little hesitant about this purchase due to the cost, but justified it with Amazon's June 20% off promo. The construction and quality are outstanding. The solid stainless steal means easy cleanup. No enamels or coatings to chip off, and nothing to rust over time. Large well placed and well designed handles let you transport your precious ribs or roast with ease. My favorite is how this holder fits snuggly between the cast iron grates on my grill, ensuring no movement at all. I was able to cut up and fit four full slabs of St. Louis ribs and the results were outstanding. While there are 5 slots, there's room to squeeze something between the handle and divided if needed. Spend the extra few bucks and go for this one. I have no doubt that you will never have to replace it.

Almost perfect
Would have given it a 5. But it doesn't fit thicker ribs. Have to let the big ones hang off the handle and not the official rack. Had to put some ribs in only half way to squeeze them in.

Study and awesome.
I have only used this once, but it worked so well I had to write an excellent review. I gave it 4 stars vs 5 only because it is a little difficult to clean in some of the grooves. I soaked it in a large pot with soapy water and it worked ok. But aside from that, this seems to be a lot more sturdy than anything else I saw that was similar. I have a medium size Big Green Egg, which has a rather small cooking surface. This allows you to cook 7 racks of ribs. How awesome is that?

Well made, but slots are a little too skinny for certain rib types
Love the make and sturdiness. However, I often find that I have to shove baby backs into the slots, and lose lots of rub in the process. If you’re working with meatier ribs, you might want bigger slots.

Very impressive...
After some bad experiences with Napoleon I bought a new Broil King grill...the grill is first class and I'm also finding that their accessories are built to a very high standard. I use this rack on the grill but also inside in the oven...it's perfect for rib roasts. More expensive, but worth every penny.

This is a very high quality item. It will last for life and it's built that way. Heavy stainless is the only way for bbqs and smokers. I usually cook 4 racks at the same time. I lean one over each handle end as I prefer more space between racks. You can't go wrong with this product, competitors products for the most part are poor quality imitations. It's a little tough to clean all around this guy. A bucket of soapy water is a good way to go, soak it for an hour or more. Goes in the dishwasher just fine.

Love this thing!
Not much to refview on a rib rack, but I'm very happy with this purchase. The material (Metal) used in this is very good quality. Even after usage, I can still get all the baked on food off. Will probably just get passed on to one of my kids... in 50 years.
