Nice old school shoes

I remember always wanting some of these shoes back In middle school in the 80’s. We grew up poor and couldn’t afford these. Beyond that, these shoes are very comfortable, now my brothers are buying some. Now to bust out a large piece of cardboard and breakdance, or try to without breaking our butts.

There's nothing to think over, just order a pair. I imagine most young heads don't understand what a huge deal BKs were back in the day. When other sneaker companies were focused on athletic use, British Knights made it about style. You'd see them in music videos. When the Metros dropped around 85/86, the only other brand that came close in popularity was TROOP (and maybe Ballys or Filas). Jordan 1s were out in 86, but so expensive that no one in my neighborhood dared to wear them. They were so pricey, you had to be careful walking through your neighborhood, or waiting at a bus stop with them on. BKs were IT. The Metro especially (the black and white, or black with the concrete). By the late 90's, nobody even talked about BKs anymore, though. Fast forward to 2014, BK starts releasing classic throwback designs. I honestly had no idea until recently that the Metro was even available. No hesitation, ordered a pair (which amazingly were priced down to thirty bucks on sale). Showed up at my door in just a couple of days. They look exactly as I remembered. The fit is PERFECT, about as true to size as you could want for new kicks. But then came the best part.... We relocated out to the sticks, but I'm a city kid. I knew that no one would recognize them out in the boonies. But when I wore them in the city, I couldn't believe how many comments and questions I got about them. Old heads will recognize them in a heartbeat. Younger guys didn't know the brand, but would ask me what they were, because they liked the design. For me, it was like stepping foot in a time machine. To a much better time. I've never been into coke-white AF1s, wild looking high-tops. This is what I like, and these are perfect. I just could not be happier having bought these, and I'll be ordering more styles soon. Would also make a great gift for any old-school sneaker head.

Was a gift for a 9 year old boy

I never owned a pair of British knights but I got this pair for a little boy that I know that's very rough on his feet. First thing I noticed is that the shoelaces came mismatched and I don't like that. There's no reason to put an extra pair of shoelaces on a pair of shoes that are already have white ones because that leads somebody to believe that you're supposed to wear both pairs. I do notice that they stretch he wears a 7 and 1/2. I don't like the prices why is it that one size is one price and another size is another price in different color? And within less than 2 weeks it went up 25 bucks. That's lousy.

Very Comfortable!

These shoes fit well, and are very comfortable. I wore them nonstop on a trip right after purchasing for 16 hrs straight, and my feet never even started to get sore. Oh and they look fantastic as well! Definitely would recommend. A 10 out of 10 especially for the price range. Had several ppl question if they were some type of Jordan’s!

Not what was expected

Box was cut before being shipped as the package the box was in had no damage, would of been nice to have an intact box for storing the shoes.

looks great, reasonably comfortable. get the smaller if youre between sizes

these shoes look sharp, i like the translucent sole. they are reasonably comfortable for the price, a bit more on the walmart plastic shoes than the cheap DC skate shoes side. i havent broken these in but i dont think id want to wear these and walk around all day, but luckily i didnt buy them for that. the size was hard for me as i take a 12 or 13 depending on brand so i got these in 13 since it was online and i didnt want to fool around with too small shoes. they fit but i really should have gotten 12, so get the smaller size if youre unsure.

Hade a pair when i was a kid, brought me back to my youth all around a nice shoe, but no support my suggestion would be a really good pair of insoles. Out site of that arived with no problems box not crushed shoes in great shape
