It's ok

I was hoping that the scent would be much stronger then it is. You can hardly smell the orange scent unless it's practically under your nose. Wish I didn't purchase two of these.

Helps covers up odors, does not eliminate them.

I can smell the scent more than I can smell the odor I needed to cover up. DOES NOT ELIMINATE ODORS.

I have a bathroom that must have bodies buried in the walls or have been built over an ancient Indian burial, ground because it has (or had) an undefeatable aroma as if it were haunted. It's a rather small room, though, so I ended up just cutting some knife slits in the foam covering rather than overpower all of us with citrus aroma instead. It seems to be working very well. I do believe it IS neutralizing odors because I don't really notice the scent of the thing -- or any other scent -- which is what I'd hoped for. Though, be careful opening this sucker. It popped open suddenly on me and gave me a lap full of citrusy gooiness. You don't want that.

Eliminates my pet rats urine odor. THANK YOU

My wife & I have two female pet rats. We love them but were thinking about having to give them away due to the room they are in smelling badly of urine. We clean their cage once every week minimal but I have been unable to sleep in the bedroom due to the overwhelming smell. I have tried about a dozen different ways of trying to help with the odor but have been unsuccessful until I purchased this item. Not only does this item make the room smell nice it also eliminates the urine smell, and I don't just mean it covers it up where you still smell urine & the air freshener. The only thing I smell is the air freshener scent itself. My wife is so happy that I am sleeping in our bed again and not on the couch. LOL

Smells Great

I love the smell of this odor eliminator and the price point is great! I just feel like it doesn't last very long so I do add water to the gel to refresh it for a couple more weeks. I place this is my reptile and fish room and it does a good job of eliminating funky smells for a moderate amount of time.

Didn't work quite how I expected it to.

Strong scent covers the odor in my sons room where the animal had urinated. I believe it covers it up more than it eliminates the odor. I also was expecting it to last longer and be more effective. Scent over load at first, but gradually decreased.

Great smelling and effective

Update- I just flipped the inside gel over and it renewed the scent. Seems the top dries out while the underside is still moist and fragrant This is the only freshener I buy! Love the citrus scent. It’s subtle but smells amazing! They last at least 2-3 months, though the scent does get much lighter as the inside “stuff” dissipates. I use these in the hallway of my apt building to remove cigarette smoke smell, beside the toilet and litter box to remove those odors, and on the bus I drive to keep it smelling fresh. It works wonderfully for all these applications. I highly recommend.

Cat litter

I use it in the room where I keep the litter for our 2 cats. It doesn't get rid of it, but it helps a lot in removing and masking the order. Will buy more when this one runs out.

Does it’s job

Solid job of keeping the stank level down in a room with some old carpet. Smell not too overpowering. Decent product. It does have some liquid in it that was leaking during shipping but other than that would buy again. Not sure if that is common or not.

The Orange Mandarin has a stronger scent

Stronger scent than the other fragrances this product comes in. I had to put a piece of tissue over the top to reduce it but now it is fine. Price has more than doubled since last time I bought - too expensive now - wait for price to go back down Dropping a star from review

Subtle scent

Keep it near the door as I have 2 big dogs. The 1st thing you smell is a nice citrusy scent that's subtle.

Is is working?

When I first opened the container, the smell was very strong. I didn't mind the smell, but it was too strong for my husband so he moved it from the kitchen to the back entry (where the dog sleeps). I actually forgot about it as it was on the top of the upright deep freeze and it didn't smell anymore. Did it actually absorb odor, I'm not sure??
