Awesome!

We like our privacy and this door made that very difficult at night. We had a semi-sheer curtain (because we still wanted the light to get through during the day), but you could still see in our house at night since the curtain was not thick. It would also gather dust like crazy. When I saw this, I decided to give it a shot, and boy am I ever glad that I did! I took the window frame off and followed the instructions to apply this over the window. It went on rather easily, but getting all the air bubbles out was a little annoying. Some areas seemed to want to come back up at first, but that wasn't an issue once the air bubbles from under it were smoothed out. After smoothing it on and cutting it appropriately, I screwed the window frame back on and admired this beautiful artwork. It offers a ton of privacy while making it look like you have a beautiful stained glass window. It also allows a good amount of light to come through. When you touch it you can tell that it's fake, but when looking from a distance or just glancing at it, it looks like nice stained glass. I can't comment on how well it stays up because the window frame I screwed on top of it holds it firmly in place. Overall, I am very happy with this purchase. Now I can finally move about in that room at night without feeling like someone might be staring at me.

Great for privacy

I had a city apartment with a floor length bathroom window right in front of the toilet. It was a 100+ year old building, so someone wasn’t thinking when they remodeled it into apartments. My bathroom window was also only maybe 30 feet from a large share house type building. It was probably abandoned, but I wasn’t taking any chances. This clingy window film was a bit tricky to lay out and cut, but I managed! It was a two person job for me to get it up perfectly, but worth it. It let in nice soft light, and didn’t let anyone hanging around that old warehouse see me peeing or my naked butt hop into my glass shower, also directly across from the full length window. ???? I have since moved and honestly, I miss that window now.

Love it!

Really classy stained glass effect! I've ordered this product twice and have not been disappointed! I've had it up for several months on two sets of windows. One set I've never had an issue with. The second set started curling a tiny bit on the edges, so I got some clear tape and put it underneath so it can't be seen from the front and presto! problem solved. I just purchased some more and put it on another window. I love this item.

Beautiful and Private!

This window film is beautiful and gives great privacy but lets in the light. It is easy to install if you follow the directions.

Larger film is heavy

If you purchase the larger film, you might consider using aloe vera gel instead of soap to apply because the film is heavy (but beautiful). After using soap a few months ago, it became detached. Aloe vera gel has worked much better.

Beautiful, thick, adheres well

I can't speak about how private this film is because I have yet to see it from the outside at night while the light is on inside but will say that it is just beautiful when natural light hits it in the daytime. One thing is it's thick and textured on one side and may be difficult to cut with a mat knife.

Pictures don't do it justice

I was worried that the film would make the room darker, but it still seems bright and sunny as ever. I used this product to make double sure that no one could see into the master bathroom. The glass is frosted but I could still see shadows both from the outside and the inside. Now the bathroom seems absolutely private, but that is almost secondary to the decorate effect. This design is absolutely gorgeous. Even though the colors are brighter than anything in the room, it still goes perfectly with the neutral beige tile work, the light brown flooring and the honey oak cabinets. These colors are light cream, saturated gold and golden brown with an accent color of peacock blue. Every time I go into the room I am transfixed by the windows. (There are two of them over the large, corner bathtub, one on each wall, which is very dramatic.) I love stained glass and this is just as pretty, and certainly less expensive! Installing it was a challenge but it was worth it. There are still some air bubbles but they are not noticeable during the day. The bubbles are slightly more noticeable at night but it doesn't bother me. I highly recommend this product.

Love it!

Pros - Easy to open - Easy to put up - Looks amazing, truly beautiful; it really upgrade my cheap front door - Great price! Cons - No sticky back, really none; for uncrafty folk this will suck. I just pin the edges with cocky in my door window. Tape would work too. Overall I would completely buy this again.

Love it! Let's light in but adds much needed privacy. A little difficult to install and remove all the air bubbles. Humidity does make the edges come up a little.
