MESSY but works as intended!
I ordered this wall liner as a solution to an old, rough plaster wall that I wanted to paint. The wall had been wallpapered and painted previously, leaving various layers of adhesive, paint and plaster that made the surface uneven and rough. Thankfully, the liner worked as intended to cover these problem areas and small blemishes. It works well to cover thin cracks, nail holes, chips in the plaster, and general unevenness. The only downside is that this stuff is very messy. There appears to be about 3x the amount of adhesive that is necessary for getting it to stick to the wall. When you wet the paper, the paste activates and becomes a thick layer of goopy glue. This makes it easy to hang, since you can "float" the paper along the wall easily to get it positioned well, but it makes for a big mess. I used a wallpaper smoothing tool and an extra wide plastic putty knife to smooth the paper and squeegee out the excess paste after hanging each piece of paper. A lot of paste dripped to the baseboards and linoleum but it was not difficult to clean up afterward. Take care if you are working in a room with carpet or hardwood, though. After installing the wall liner, it's helpful to shine a flashlight at an angle around the wall to be sure you've smoothed out all the bubbles and lines. In my experience, at first the paper was slightly translucent until it dried to be almost completely opaque, with a texture like drywall. After it dried, I used putty to cover the seams, and will be painting next.

No adhesive-peeled off-weird
UPDATE**** First post : So I ordered three and one was amazing but the other two didn’t have adhesive on most of the roll! I was really hoping this didn’t happen because I have a deadline but amazon sent replacements and I’m praying these rolls aren’t defective. Second post: So it’s been like a year since I ordered these and got replacements. I wanted to finish the project before Christmas as a present to my mom. Well, I did a small hallway and just used the wallpaper as the instructions directed me too. I guess I trusted the process and the company. Anyways fast forward, half of it peeled off. Before and after I painted it. The other half shrank so the gaps in between were big enough to notice Basically my surprise was ruined and so was my moms wall. If still looks bad. I feel horrible and I just can’t bring myself to deal with it now. 1. The paper is thick enough to cover the walls well. 2. The a paper will ALWAYS need more adhesive. No matter what the comments say. Buy a can of adhesive and use both at once if you want this to stay or even last 3. Painting the paper makes it feel weirdly hairy. It never really feels like a real wall and it doesn’t even look like a real wall. 4. This is a cheap but difficult DIY. 5. If you regret it, just peel it off and use water for the hard parts to get.

Nice!!!
We are renovating our half-bathroom. We removed the old wallpaper and I started putting up this paper today. So far, I've been able to do it on my own and it's been easier than expected. I initially ordered 2 rolls but realized that I didn't have enough and ordered 1 more. I pre-cut the paper but then decided to start on a different wall. Our walls are quite uneven and instead of going through the headache of cutting more into the paper, I'm going to fill in the gaps with spackle and then sand it down when it's all up. I also found out that cutting the paper with a utility knife after the paper wet is difficult so it's best to use scissors or measure it exactly beforehand. I did it on one piece but I'm not doing that again as it caused the paper to have a messy rip. The two downsides to this product so far is the amount that you get and it is extremely messy from the glue. But so far so good. I will post an update when the glue paper is up.

Great quick transformation of wood paneling
We used this to quickly cover up three walls of wood paneling. Obviously the best choice is to remove the paneling, but this was a decent fix to transform the space in just a couple of days. This is possible to do by yourself (even if you’re like me and have never hung wallpaper before), but it went much more smoothly with two sets of hands. Ours DEFINITELY needed to be painted over because the glue took on an orange hue after being stuck onto the wood. The horizontal seams are visible, but not overwhelmingly noticeable, and in the right light you can see the vertical seams where the separate panels meet. This isn’t a permanent fix to the ugly paneling, but it has made a drastic positive impact on the space until we get around to a major overhaul in five years or so.

No paste halfway through roll!
Product seems to work, but half way thru the first roll, there was a strange row of gray dots running vertically. You can see them from the photo. From those dots on, there was no paste on the back of the paper. It was plain paper without glue and the remainder of the roll was useless. A very expensive issue when you are paying by the day for labor!! Eventually, this piece came off the wall as you can tell from the remaining photos. Luckily, Amazon.com is sending another roll, but it cost me two days and puts us behind on our project. PLUS, you have to wait two days on the paper to dry before you can paint the primer on. Alot of steps to use this paper, but if you have problem walls it may be the only solution. The second roll was perfectly fine end to end, so perhaps it was a coincidence. Maybe buy an extra roll and return it if you want to be sure it doesn't happen in the middle of your project. Sadly, I didn't have the foresight to do this.

Like it but advice was bad
It went up very easy. Not sure whether I should have painted the wall before papering asked questions and I got answers that said no just put it over the paper. This does not work as I was trying to paste and put up my wallpaper it kept soaking into the paper, it just kept soaking in and soaking in I would recommend painting in before you do anything else I have two coats on it waiting for it to dry and hopefully it will go on much easier and stick to the walls. it was not sticking at all you could see it just sucked it the glue into the paper great stuff covered all the holes and whatever needed to be and do not overlap because it leaves a bump

Interesting product
As part of a major renovation we have re-arranged the cabinets in our kitchen, resulting in several unfinished end panels being exposed, which are made of particleboard and MDF. We have been planning to paint the cabinets but painting particleboard and MDF can cause the wood particles to swell, resulting in a bumpy surface so getting a smooth finish involves several coats of primer with a lot of sanding in between. Instead I hit on the idea of covering the unfinished ends with lining paper to provide a surface suitable for paint that should hold up as well as any wall. After 1 coat of primer they look good so I'll be painting them as soon as time allows.

???? First Aid for Walls
✅ So far, so good. Strong, rigid paper in a nice off white color. Smooth textured. Prepasted and sticks well, but required extra glue in the corners after repositioning. Covers all rough spots, leaving them flawless. We used it as a liner/base before applying the final product (wallpaper, mural, paint, etc.). Worked well on a wall with some superficial blemishes due to previous wallpaper removal. A bit more translucent than expected, the darker areas show through. Not a problem, since it is only a base and meant to be covered. If you plan to apply rolled wallpaper over it, be sure to apply with edges staggered if not installed in horizontal strips as instructed. Will continue to evaluate performance over time. Most interested in knowing if it actually enhances the final project or just creates new problems of its own.

Not as advertised
The liner paper shipped was actually the Canadian double roll size and was marked as 10 meters, which would have been an added bonus except each roll was 1 meter short, so could only get three lengths cut instead of four. The liner paper was heavy as promised and the instructions said to use over cement block or wood paneling, but I can't see it would cover up either wall type very well.

Good coverage!
Great, did the job as expected. It covered our old paneling so we could cover the groves and paint it. Not perfect, depending on your walls but it worked very well for our needs. Recommended. Easy to use.

Not prepasted
Buyer beware. I have ordered this 3 times in the last 4 months. The last order arrived and the manufacturer kept the same part number but drastically changed the product. It now has some kind of film on top and is no longer prepasted. The original rolls were far better product. Had planned on using this to cover more panelling but now plan on drywalling instead.
