It’s a pleasant smell & works temporarily for my dog.

I liked everything about this. It doesn’t seem to last long for my dog who has allergies and bites/scratches himself.

Toxic to Dogs

I was doing a little reading about the product before I put it on my dog and wanted to ensure that the ingredients were safe if my dog would happen to lick his itchy belly (thanks allergies). Turns out peppermint oil is extremely toxic to dogs. So I will be returning this product. Do your research people. This product could make your dog sick or kill them.

Good Stuff!

First of all, this will NOT harm your dog unless they drink the entire bottle maybe. Small amounts of Peppermint Oil is beneficial to dogs for several things including an upset tummy but this is NOT natural Peppermint Oil. NATURAL Peppermint ESSENTIAL oils are what is toxic to dogs. Most pet products that use Peppermint Oil use a safe SYNTHETIC oil that will not harm the pet but they rarely label it as synthetic so you have to really do your digging to find out for sure and this product DOES use synthetic oils so don't worry about using it. I did the research for you by contacting the company before I bought it. My dog has had an itchy spot right above his tail that drives him mad ever since I've had him and so far this spray is doing an incredible job at soothing his itch. I can't count the hours of sleep I've lost because he was digging his itchy spot or wanting me to dig it for him and the other all natural product I have been using just didn't work. You can use it as often as you like and it seems to hold for several hours before we need to reapply but Teddy has a very severe itch so your dog may not need it as much as mine does. We use it in the Morning, Late Afternoon & Before bed. It smells AMAZING in a very light delicate fresh scent that isn't perfumey or strong. If we end up having any problems I will return to update because I love my Teddy just as much as you love yours and if we have any problems I want you to be aware of them but so far I'm VERY pleased with it and Teddy is happy that his mad itch is gone.
