Dogs don't jump out of this pen!

I was so pumped when I received this. Our dogs would jump over the 24 inch fence we had for them. Nobody is jumping over this one! FYI, you cannot bend the fence corners in both directions. I broke the plastic hinges on two of the panels trying to do so. Otherwise it's a great product. It is sturdy and doesn't scratch the floor. I wouldn't use it outside as it wouldn't be sturdy enough in my opinion. Highly recommend this to others. (I don't know if anyone else would feel this way, but my hubby says the gate is too hard to open (you have to push down on the bottom rung and pull up on the gate to open it. ) and he also says it should stay open and not automatically shut after you open it. I just put a string on the fence to hold the gate open. )

Great pen, could use a bit more robust clips to hold the pen closed.

Great pin and a must have for new dog owners. This is a good size pen that you can resize to your needs. I leave my dog in the pen while am at work, or while running errands and its secure and he has never had a problem. The one thing that is a negative that I can't blame on the pen is the shear look of disgust on my dogs face when I first put him in the pen...lol. All-in-all a great product, but one area of improvement could be the metal snap hooks (3) that they give you could be a bit more substantial/quality. I can already tell one is bending out of sorts and will most likely become useless.

Pretty Good

Box was in rough shape when it arrived. After unpacking, a few pieces fell out and were damaged. Turns out the broken pieces didn’t have much impact on the functionality of the play pen. Setup was fairly simple. Metal is good quality and heavy. Would have been 5 stars if not for the rough delivery and damaged pieces.

We SO needed this!

This playpen was/is lifesaver for us and our new 6wk old puppy when we purchased, now 12 weeks. We attached to his kennel, and it works great to keep him contained. Unless you have a super calm pup, the manufacturer does not recommend leaving unattended - and rightly so. Or crazy little pup did get his mouth caught once, no fault of manufacturer, just a crazy puppy - so you definitely want to keep an eye open for that. We keep our fellow totally in his kennel when we're not home. Just fyi

Awesome a lot.

My little puppy, has a habit of jumping and for a 2 pound little one she jumps extremely high. The standard 2 foot high cage was far too dangerous for her. A little over 36 inches perfect! This cage is extremely portable very well-built. And the large door is a bonus. Good value,

40 inch Works while it lasts…

40-Inch-Tall Pet Exercise Playpen arrived with rusted power all over the joints. We wiped it down and used it anyway because the puppy was arriving and we didn’t have time to return/replace. It worked well for the most part. Not all joints tightened all the way so the 8 week old puppy could flex the shape of the pen somewhat with very little effort. Ultimately no complaints and worked as it was supposed to for our puppy. Then after 6 weeks of use, we discovered one of the top connectors had broken. I contacted the company Petmaker but was told they do not sell replacement parts so we are not able to replace and are past the return window. Also, this came with a PetTrex brand sticker on it, which has bad reviews and I purposely didn’t purchase.

Beware of spacing on panels!!

I normally don’t like to leave negative reviews.. I bought this for my 8 week old American Staffordshire terrier puppy. I left her in it for literally 10 mins and she was able to stick her open mouthed snout in between the slats and got stuck. I heard her squealing from the other room and had to bend the gate to free her. Thank goodness I was home.Scared the crap out of us both! The playpen is nice but I wouldn’t leave pup unattended. Kind of defeats it’s purpose. Please re evaluate the spacing of the gate.

Excellent buy good quality good price. Easy setup and storage also easy to move around or take with you. Don’t waste your money or time on that $57 piece of plastic pen it has many pieces like the furniture in box store you have to put it together with a 100 pieces and it is junk. Amazon should ban these type suppliers to save shoppers grief and save Amazon money in handling fees. And bad publicity.

Dangerous, rusted, and dirty (and scratch floor)

Cut myself on top Sharp edges... ouch.. The top of the panels has sharp metal needles that cut (see photos). Making very hard to assemble, manipulate and can hurt your puppies or people (childrens) that reach out over the Pen .. door not aligned and very hard to close. I have to force the door to close it and almost impossible to open after. Also, the instructions are not readible and not clear. The ground sticks (whatever that is) were rusted and dirty (see photo). Very disapointed... and very complex/heavy product to return... Edit: just realised that my floor is scratch...there is no rubber at the bottom to mitigate this... in summary, I cut myself and broke my floor... way to go Amazon

Lifesaver for garden and no-go zones in my house

I am fully satisfied. It is very portable. When the puppies were very young, I used it to confine them. Now that they’re older, 80% trustworthy that they won’t destroy something I like,,totally toilet trained etc, I use them (I purchased 3) around my plantings outside. Cheaper and I’ve found them to be more effectual than decorative fencing.

Not the Best

I definitely did not use this for potty training because it is too much space but I use it for my puppy to play while I need to do stuff that the puppy can get into. We are still working on crate training. Be careful as this scratches wooden floors and also the door is kind of a pain to latch and unlatch (it gets stuck sometimes).

Good pen

Have had this for 3 weeks now. I was looking for a pen that could be square and this is it. To make it more stable and hold its shape when puppy jumps on sides we had to zip tie wooden dowels on the outside bottom. Then one day we learned our 4 month Yorkie puppy could climb and jump over the top. We had to buy the Midwest mesh top to Contain him. The top has made the whole pen way more stable.

Very versatile And strong .

I like the way you can use the pen in many different ways and shapes . I kept it small till the pups got bigger then expanded it as they grew .. kept the big pets away from the pups and puppies could be the family without harm..
