Great light

My husband and I have a large desk which we share. I purchased 2 of these lights since they are so affordable. They are perfect. They are extremely easy to move around to direct the light where it is needed. Great buy.

Great combination!

I have a co-worker who is always coming in and his phone is dead. He is plugging up to his computer and he is chained to it because he has to be charging all the time. I got him this Bostitch Office VLED1816-BOS LED, Flexible Gooseneck & Adjustable Color Temperature Desk Lamp with Wireless Charger, White as a way to add a nice light to his desk, AND let him just set his phone down on his desk and charge it while he isn't using it. It has worked out beautifully for him. He can just toss his phone down under the lamp, and it is charging the whole time he is at work (except when he is actually on the phone) and best of all, he mostly texts so he will shoot a text, then set it back down on the charger and it stays charged much better throughout the day. Also, it is so great when he is doing his T.P.S. reports, he can see if he has put the coversheets on properly with the lamp - which by the way, is adequate, but could be a little brighter. But I like the stepless dimming, you just press the button and it goes through the brightness levels without having to stop at preset levels. If you LIKE preset levels, there are three of those too. The flexible gooseneck is great, allowing you to adjust where the lamp aims - which can be really handy when you need to avoid shadows or if you need to keep glare out of your eyes. Overall, this is a pretty nice lamp/charger combo. Other than the price being a slight bit higher than I think it should be, it is still a great lamp. The qi charger is a very nice combo and I would recommend this without hesitation. It also makes a really good gift, especially for a co-worker.

Good for Scrap Booking

I love this little desk lamp. I'm an avid scrap-booker and attend several scrap book retreats a year. I got this lamp to use as my travel lamp but liked it so much I am using it at home as well. I will say that at home I have a large floor Ott light for my main scrap booking area. I put this on my side area for extra light. I think it would be a great desk lamp for college kids or make a great bedside reading lamp as well. My favorite thing about it is that it has a wireless charging base so all I have to do is set my phone on it and it charges (I have a Samsung galaxy S8 Edge)! The lamp doesn't have to be on to charge your phone which is also great. It has a timer button so it will auto shut off after 40 minutes if you set it. It has three adjustable color modes which is another favorite feature (see attached pictures of light in all three modes). If you hold down the power button the light will slowly dim. When it is at the brightness you like, you let go of the power button. To brighten, you also hold down the power button. The neck is flexible so it is easy to position and it is very light weight and does not take up much space. Pro's: - Compact, lightweight - Wireless charging for Qi-enabled devices - 3 color temperature modes - On/off timer - Flexible neck - Smooth dimming settings so you can get the perfect amount of light Con's - It does not light a very large area - Controls are a little fussy

Feature-rich and functional

It's good to see non-traditional lamps enter the marketplace, especially when they add functionality traditional products couldn't offer. With this Bostitch Office Lamp, you're getting a lamp that delivers LED brightness with modern features older lamps aren't able to provide. Pros: - Qi Wireless Charging - 3 lighting modes with dimmable LEDs - A built-in timer Cons - Dim controls are not intuitive - The Qi wireless charger is finicky - The lamp is easier to topple over than I expected Overall this lamp is a great addition to the modern home or workspace. The crisp, clean lines and white build make it a perfect compliment to just about any desktop or nightstand. Being able to shift modes from bright white light to a more restrained yellow light helps when you want to relax and read a good book. You can even customize lighting even more by increasing or decreasing the intensity of the brightness output of the lamp by simply resting your finger on the power button. One of my favorite features of this lamp is its built-in timer which gives you 40 mins of light before it automatically shuts off. If you like to read before bedtime this is a very welcome convenience. Finally, there is wireless charging. While it works it's not the fastest wireless charging available and I almost always found it necessary to position my phones multiple times to find the sweet spot to engage the wireless charging contact pad. This is a very good lamp that gives better than expected light output, modern conveniences, and sleek design. I'd consider this a good addition to any home or workspace that needs an additional lamp that adds more than just light to a room. I would recommend this lamp at its asking price but if it ever goes below 30 dollars it's a steal.
