Bosmere sharpener

The idea behind this device (the two piece clamp-on tool) is good but the sharpening surface is thin and the tool is a light weight plastic. It simply will not withstand repeated use. Spend more and get a Felco 904. Yes it is expensive, but it is metal and has a diamond impregnated steel honing surface. It sharpens quickly and is easy to learn how to use it. It should last the average homeowner a lifetime.

Cheap Junk

I wouldn’t have bought this if I had seen it in person. Maybe it works. After I opened it & saw it was just 3 pieces of lightweight plastic I just didn’t see how it could sharpen my pruners. I don’t know if it’s possible to return it because you have to destroy the packaging to get it out to feel how cheap it is.

For Gardening tools?

I purchashed this for the clamp guided sharper. It was junk. Good intentions but i need heavy duty. as for the larger shear sharpener. plastic that scews to your workbench. not my thing. Only purchase if you are a gardener.

Really pleased sharpener some really full tools

This worked fantastically well, initially thought these looked too small and delicate but it did a great job of restoring sharpness to our tree trimmer which had been so dull it was more of a tree pincher than cutter .

great product

I saw this advertised on tv on a home and garden show and looked several places on line. Lowes and home depot wanted over $60 for the item. this is a great buy and saves cost of having shears or pruners taken to the shop and sharpened or buying new ones. much love for the great price and the superb seller pricing.

Super Sharpener

Super easy, got it sharpened all my garden tools. Exactly what I had been looking for. Would recommend. Just beware that it is plastic. I don't think that will present a problem, however, I don't think I knew that when I purchased it.

Very good products

Had the shear sharpener before and liked it enough to buy it again. The scissor sharpener was new to me and it does a very good job. All my scissors are sharp like new. Now I gave it 4 stars because if they can find a more convenient way of fastening it to a bench or table, I would use it more. Currently it takes 2 screws and because I don't like screwing into a table top and all my work benches are made of metal or melamine, I need to screw it into a block of wood and then put that wood in a vice. A small annoyance, but if you want 5 stars, find a better way.
