Suction depends on your vacuum but it works fine with most vacuums. Luv it
Used this for coring holes in concrete for ductless ac units

Great investment
Does exactly what it says. The more powerful the vacuum the better. The battery ones get the job done but you really want something with more oomph for more than one session. And it collects dust great but bigger chunks will clog the tiny port that goes from the wall suction chamber to the dust collection part. Just a detail. It truly reduced almost to cero the fugitive dust in confined environments when drilling concrete.

Worth it for drywall in a finished space
This is meant for containing silica dust on a jobsite, but it does a fantastic job of containing the drywall dust from a regular old hole in regular old drywall. It's not going to send the chunks that might break off into the vacuum, but it will keep that fine gypsum power off of your clothes and bookshelves. I tip the top of this toward me when I remove it from a wall. That keeps the big stuff in the apparatus. Then I can either dump it or vacuum it out. I bought the big one so I would have plenty of room to use an oscillating tool for cutting in remodel boxes for electrical. I usually have to reposition it once or twice, but it works well. Another reviewer mentioned that there is room to stick a small LED light inside. That's a fantastic idea, and now I am day dreaming of hacking this with a permanent LED. Oh, projects: so many ideas, so little time to do them.

A little detail but important
Good quality of materials, good suction. But it has a weak spot its dressing is weak you have to use light hose, if you use a heavy or long hose at large height tends to take off from wall because of its lack of dressing

Holds on a brick wall
It requires a special vacuum adapter to connect easily to the hose. I used duct tape and that worked well. I use a 5hp Rigid vac with a dust deputy and HEPA filter and that easily held this to a brick wall while drilling. A little dust fell when we turned off the vacuum and took it down. I think having the correct hose fitting would be a good idea since shutting off the vac to remove it from the wall would not be required. It easily handled the dust while drilling a 4.5" hole.

Dust sucker upper
I use this all the time. Silica dust is bad, and I still a lot of holes that make silica dust. So I hook this up to my Vacuum and it works fine to catch most of the dust. I use a lot of ecobust and Dexpan for concrete demo and it involves drilling a lot of deep 1.5” holes. This comes in handy.

Had to buy these because OSHA
Had to buy these because OSHA put a new rule out that we had to use them on the job. They are great for sucking up dust before it can get in your lungs. Kind of hard to use because you have to hook it up to a shop vac. But once you get it hooked up it works like a champ.

Spot on bit of kit
Exellent bit of kit. Tumble dryer dry core drilling with almost zero dust. Started using it for all my drilling. Strong suction is the best feature, it just stays stuck to the wall keeping your hands free and no awkward pipes connected to your tools. There are cheaper options out there but I have no idea if they can match suction so it does loose a star just for costing so much more then budget options.

It works!
Dust free (almost) core drilling indoors. Works on 152mm cores with the brush removed.

If you do core drilling, you need this in your kit!
Why did I only just find out about this!? What a superb tool, I use it with my Henry hoover which goes straight into the dust extractor, and the suction to the wall is superb. I’ve done a few 125mm core holes and the dust is minimal. Really good but, I will be getting the smaller one next!

Clean, cheap, professional, simple to use
Anyone who drills holes through walls should have this product.it is well made and looks robust enough to last. Using it for the first time was simple,as it fits most vacuum nozzle ends.used it with my Fein perfectly.I think it's more suited to diamond coring than traditional coring bits. But it would work well with both. It left myself,my glasses and my work area very clean. It also looks very professional when viewed by customers. If you are the type of person who has gone to the expense of buying diamond core bits then I can't recommend this highly enough.I bought mine for around £30 but I have seen an alternative UK coded one for around £90.

Seen these used online by other trades, and it didn’t disappoint. Absolutely brilliant.
