Great overall bag

I use this for grocery shopping. It is very sturdy and keeps food cold here in the hot weather. Also it holds so much and can handle heavy loads. It’s nice to know your food will not spoil while traveling. Great to take to the beach as well.

Bigger than I'd Anticipated but I Love It Anyway!

The pictures of this cooler bag aren't deceiving but I really didn't think the bag was going to be as big and spacious as it is! That's a GOOD Thing! It stores way more than it appears it can, and it really does keep things cool for a decent amount of time. Not frozen, not ice-cold, but lightly chilled which is all I really need. The bag is made of seriously durable material- the outside is thick canvas-like black and blue fabric, which is easily washed and wiped; the inside is a fairly thick silver lining that is easily wiped too. The bag does not 'smell', which I've found a lot of them do have a strong vinyl or insulation smell- a quick wipe with a Lysol sheet takes care of any unusual odors. The zipper looks a little cheap compared to the rest of the bag because its the thick-looking plastic kind (like when little kids learn to use a zipper)but it works just fine- no snags yet. I love that this bag folds up well too; easily stored away in our pantry. You could probably even keep it in the freezer if you've got enough room (the bag is long when its folded) but I don't know if that would really help keep food stay cooler in the bag for longer as they are no ice packs in the bag's lining (like Pack-Its). The Velcro strips are nicely hidden in plain-view and I haven't had them get caught on any other fabrics when the bag is unfolded. I use this for work mostly- I pack a lunch for me and my daughter in the morning, transport hers to daycare, then keep mine under my desk all day- and it keeps my food appropriately chilled until mid-afternoon. I used it for a family gathering recently too- packed several apples, bananas, yogurt cups, bottle of juice and water and some individual bags of chips at 5 AM, and everything remained in one piece (even the chips and bananas!) and nicely chilled until about 2 PM. It spent most of the day in the car, with no air conditioning and it did well but I did throw a small ice pack in just to be safe. But it kept snacks for 5 people cool for 7 hours! In any case, I really love this bag! Its roomy, easy to maintain and I see us using it for a long time, especially with beach weather upon us! Highly recommend!

keeps items cold throughout the bag

i bought this Arctic Zone bag for $13 prime last week. for the past three or four years (if not more), i have used the $6 insulated bags from costco, with a plastic interior, a material exterior, and foam in-between. they were inexpensive and fairly durable, but after heavy use, both bags finally gave out, one last year, and the other last week. i never used them for shopping, rather to keep items like my iPhone and iPad cool in the car during working hours (i teach at a prison and electronics aren't allowed inside), as well as credit cards and other items that can deform and/or melt in the heat of a vehicle in our arizona summers. it is a brutal beating for the bags, day in and day out. each day i put two frozen cold pacs in a bag. while nothing would fry, only things next to the cold packs would stay really cool, and items at the top of the bag would get almost hot. it was a bit problematic. this Arctic Zone bag has something like a mylar interior, and i found that the coolness from the frozen cold packs distributed evenly throughout all parts of the bag. frosting on brownies that were intentionally placed at the very top of the bag (as a test) didn't get warm and melt, even though the cold packs were at the bottom of the bag. the mylar (or whatever it is) is thin, and i do not know yet if it will be strong enough to withstand everyday use. i will find out, though, as this bag will remain in my vehicle even on weekends and days off when i will still replace the thawed cold packs with frozen cold packs because there are items that stay in the vehicle at all times that i do not want exposed to severe heat. so this bag is never going to get a break. it looks really sturdy and well made, very solid, and it is good-looking and sporty. it is smaller inside than the costco bags, but is still roomy enough to hold a lot of items.

WAY TOO SMALL, BUT USEFUL

Other than the size, they are very good bags. I should have paid more attention to the measurements of the bags (I ordered one in each color). I have 3 bags by CA Innovations from years ago. They are in rough shape and taping them back together is not an option. So I looked for replacements and found these. They are about half the size of the ones to be replaced, I really need 3 or 4 more of this size. I shop twice a month, almost 60 miles away from the house. I need these bags for the frozen and cold items things. I am keeping them, but the size is too small. I just did not equate a 45 can size to something that would be too small for a frozen pizza in a box, 20 pounds of chicken (4 large flat packs) and a few packages of Green Giant frozen veggies. So now I have to figure out how to repair the old ones so I can still use them until I find bigger bags. So it is now several months since my purchase of these three bags. Yes they are smaller than I was expecting, but I am using them with every trip to the store. The old bags just would not repair, you can only use duct tape for so long. I will be purchasing a couple more of these bags as I have figured out how to stuff them very well. They stack well on top of each other which the older, bigger bags would not. I have increased my original 3 stars to 4.

Performance

Good large, insulted, cooler bag, keeps items cool/cold for a long time, wears well, easy cleaning and very durable with large sturdy handles. Good product and good company.

Handy coolbag

We've had this almost a month, and have found it particularly useful to transport frozen items home from shops (especially when they're not that close to home) to prevent thawing on the way home in warm weather. We have also used it as an extra bag to keep drinks and other items cool for picnics. We like the size, it looks good quality and we find it easy to carry. So far it has done the job well and we are pleased we bought it (it took around 10 days to be dispatched and came from the US so took a while to arrive, but well within the overall delivery time quoted).

Great bags!

I have always used similar bags for keeping my groceries cold or warm ... depending upon what I buy and they have always performed well. I carry home quite a bit in each bag, including canned goods, drinks, heavy squash ... you name it. They are sturdily built, hold a LOT ... and stand up to abuse. I tie the long handles onto my scooter rail (I don't own a car) ... and they just keep on working. Love them!

es la segunda bolsa que tengo de este tipo me sirve mucho para ir al super con las carnes es muy practico y cumple con lo que dice, adicional le pongo el gel que es hielo y me dura 8 horas frio. El gel lo consiguen en walmart por 36 pesos en el area de deportes campismo

I would highly recommend this cooler bag

Seems to work well keeping food cool, with the help of a small ice pack. Folds up with velcro so it is compact and easy to store in the car. The handles make the bag easy to carry, and it has held up well over the past couple of years, even carrying heavy items.
