Completely necessary in a recxovery plan.
A sock aid is essential for anyone living alone with bending limits. But it is not foolproof or entirely successful in all ways. A sock aid will get you by but for some things you'll still need help.

Great after knee surgery
I had a knee replaced and was having trouble getting my socks on. This thing took care of that. It's easy to use and I have put it on heavy wool, smart wool, cotton and nylon socks. It works on all of them. I really don't need it now as I have enough bend to put on socks without it but when you need it, its more than worth the price.

SOCK AID WITH FOAM GRIP When I ordered 2 of these, I did not get the product that is pictured or described. I got a flexible sock aid that has nylon on one side and terry cloth on the other. I was dissatisfied when I opened the package and saw that it was not what I had bought and that it was a whole different type of sock aid.

Can't reach your feet? This can't be beat!
I've used a sock aid for about 10 years now and I like this upgraded version. That black spot on the back is a gripper that helps hold onto the sock a little bit so that it ensures that the sock slides completely over the foot before releasing on the ankle/calf. A very good aid for any one with trouble reaching their feet -- back trouble, recent abdominal surgery, before & after having a baby, etc.

Great device
My son tore his acl and after surgery, he was in a knee immobilizer. He could not bend his leg for a few weeks. This devise aided him in getting his sock on by himself.

A big hit!
Gave this to my dad as a present and he’s had me order several more for his friends ! Dad puts on his socks effortlessly and quickly. They look quite ordinary right out of the box, but work very well!

Measurements given were much larger than actual. Said 6 inches wide but was 4.75 inches wide. Can't even get my toes into it. And you had them packaged as two. So not just one incorrect size but two of them. I searched for large sock aid, these were small, the size measurements were wrong. Won't use it ever again.

Need knee or back surgery or just had it? This s a a great gadget to have. Put socks on easily, without bending your knee or back. Great for older individuals too.

What a great idea!
I had hip surgery and was told to purchase this. I can't believe that something so simple was so invaluable. You just slip the sock on this and put your foot and pull. Just love this and the price was better than other places.

So Far So Good.....
Wider than I expected/ need, and as such stretches my socks. Pull rope really long so I shortened it. Wider width means sock has to be pulled on, but that's not a problem for me.
