Well made and flattering Rashguard!

This Rashguard is well made. Body Glove is a brand that’s been in the market for decades, and it did not disappoint. I’m 5’6” tall, 129lbs, 32DD (37in) bust. I usually wear size medium on tops, and decided to get size medium for this shirt. It fits me a bit snug, but on the comfortable side, and I like it. I would recommend sizing up, if you want it a bit loose. The fabric is stretchy, as you would expect for a Rashguard shirt. I’ll be trying the UPF protection under the blazing sun of equatorial Brazil. I’ll update the review once I have tried this under the sun. So far, I’m very happy with the purchase, and would definitely recommend it!

Sun proof, thin, flattering, comfortable

I’d say your usual size would be slightly snug, it’s supposed to fit that way & it’s still very comfortable that way but just size up if you want it to be a baggier shirt

Great for summer time, nylon keeps me cool plus it provides sun protection.

Everyone saying these don't provide any sun protection is wrong. The warning on the label is legal protection. Pretty much all nylon yarn is UPF 50+. When the yarn is woven or knitted into fabric if light doesn't past through it then it will past the upf50+ test. There isn't anything special about UPF50+ fabric other than it is a close weave high thread count type of fabric, some fibers are better than others. Both nylon and polyester are excellent yarns for sun protection. Even a plain dark cotton t-shirt provides sun protection - not much but it provides some maybe UPF 5 to 10 (about an 80% reduction in sun radiation on your skin, A UPF rating of 50 indicates the fabric will allow 1/50th — or about 2 percent — of the ultraviolet radiation from the sun to pass through to your skin.) Things that matter are color - darker colors are better, fabric thickness, weave density (thread count), and amount of wetness (you know what happens to a wet cotton t-shirt). Makers can add special additives to the fabric to boost the UPF higher but plain close weave nylons can get there without any special additives that can wash out over time. You can also add an ultra-violet blocker to your laundry detergent that has UPF blocking additives to increase the UV resistance of any type of fabric. There are ones on Amazon rated at UPF 30, search for "sun guard laundry aid" These are nice rash guards made from 87% nylon, 13% Spandex. This is an incredibly comfortable mix. The fabric feels silky smooth and has phenomenal stretch. It doesn't stretch-out over time. Downsides to nylon are it is HARD TO DYE and it absorbs water maybe as much as 3 to 4 %. It is not as resistant to sun damage as polyester and after a time (years) the sun will cause the color to fade and the fabric to weaken. I will gladly give up color fast and fade resistance for the superior comfort of nylon. Most premium swimsuits use nylon/spandex. Nylon yarn is also more expensive than polyester yarn. Overall, I love these and have bought 8 of them so far. They are super comfortable and I just like wearing them around the house, not necessarily for watersports but for sun protection, they are great for yard work or just about any summer time activity where I will be in the sun. The nylon is very cool, it has a cooling effect agaisnt my skin. It works so good that sometimes I have to put on another layer to stay warm in the air conditioning.

Keeping me a bit warmer in the cold swimming pool

This Body Glove is for sun protection -- I am wearing it over my swimsuit for a bit of warmth in the cool pool. It works, and I am more comfortable swimming. It is not perfect for this use (the sleeve cuffs flutter a bit rather than holding fast, and I tuck the bottom under the bottom of my swimsuit so that it does not float up), but it serves the purpose well, and it is a good value.

Wrong size ordered

I ordered a medium which as too big but I didn't believe I liked it enough to exchange for the smaller size

Really good rash vest

I have another of these in another colour - got it last year for a lot cheaper - but these do a great job - perfect for snorkelling and keeping the sun off you. I wear a size 10-12 UK and the large fits me nicely - slightly loosely but not too lose. Came and bought the same brand again as knew it fit so nice

Super comfortable

This rashguard is exactly as expected. It fits very well, really nice feeling on the skin, perfect protection from the sun, did not stretch out while being in the water, dries very fast, and looks very nice as well. In total, I am 100% satisfied with it. I bought size S.

This top fits well and is comfortable in the water. I haven’t used this in the sun yet. Hopefully I can try this if we ever have sunshine again!
