Day 1 Great Straight Out of the Box
Just received the convection oven. The previous same model from 2020 would no longer bake. The bake knob would not turn on the oven, though the oven came on for toast. So far, the oven reached 350 degrees in about 4 minutes and has been holding steady according to my thermometer. That said, I rely on this oven for all my baking needs… chicken, fish, vegetables. With the last unit, I was not regularly checking the oven temperature and it seemed chicken was not reaching 160 degrees internal temp for much longer than when I first began using the unit. I do not like to think such a well performing, good-looking appliance fades away within a couple of years! Will be frequently checking the temperature. Tomorrow I bake brownies with confidence!!! Update: day 2 When set at 350 degrees, the oven reaches only around 310. I cranked up the dial to 400 and it held at 340 for a 25 minute bake time. For the price of the unit, I can live with the issue. Rarely do I need to bake anything at 400 or 450 degrees. An oven thermometer is essential! Make sure to use one especially if cooking chicken and pies. Then, you won’t be wondering why the meat is not reaching internal temperature and the pies are jiggling in the center. All things considered, you could have the same issue with something that costs $179 or $250 so, save yourself the $$!

Purrr fection
I had to write this review.. I hate Amazon reviews because 70 ℅ of the time they are not even for the product you are viewing.. This is for the Black and Decker wide convection toaster oven. It cooks things perfectly....I am cooking, baking and toasting in this thing..every thing has come out perfection...my pans fit in it and the food is better than when cooked in my oven. This is the only product I have ever bought that is literally as good as it says. And I am 73. I lined the bottom tray and pan with non stick foil. Clean up is a damp cloth when cooled. Have not used my oven since I got it. One hint I would like to pass on...one reviewer was correct in saying the knobs are too smooth so hard to adjust..I agree but only found it a problem with the timer knob which sometimes has to be turned down.... I solved by cutting a slim strip of stick on Velcro (hard side) and wrapping around the knob. Now works perfectly. And........this does not require a pilots license to operate as the one a returned did.....could not recommend more highly.

Love my new toaster oven
It was time to replace my old one and I read a few reviews but went with my favorite brand Black and Decker and I am glad I did. The size is amazing. The loud noise others complained about is the fan. I am use to that from my XL Grill it keeps the smell of the food cooking from spreading through out the apartment which I appreciate the temperature is accurate you just have to know how to adjust it. I am a toaster oven pro so I don't have a problem with any of the features. If you are not use to toaster ovens start with a small simple version I give this a full 5 star rating

replacement oven - so far so good
Received this oven quickly, a replacement for one that arrived dented and was returned next day - good condition, no dents; front glass door does not close completely, same as first oven, but is not as bad as the first oven. When closed, glass door should be touching little rubber bumpers at the top corner, but it only hits bumper on left side... right corner of glass door does not touch bumper, so glass door is slightly open, letting heat out. Since 2 ovens have this problem, assuming it's standard design. Tested oven temps, came to the correct temp as selected on dial, food cooked correctly. Dials are a little "stiff" to turn but only a problem for those with limited hand strength. Used a couple of times. So far, so good. Had a very small "starter" B+D toaster oven that worked well for a year, just needed a larger one.

BLACK&DECKER TO3250XSB Toaster oven Heats up quickly, cooks evenly. Haven't had to clean yet and only had the oven for 1 week though used several times. The plug does not get hot. front glass and handle do get hot, be careful. I am very grateful for this nice large oven. large dishes fit in. Temperature setting dial matches the thermometer I placed inside of the oven. I may purchase a second to have on hand. Doubt I'll use the built-in oven in my kitchen much anymore. Highly recommend!

So far working well..
Definitely clean the inside and out of the oven well before using I also set the bake convection mode to 250°F and bumped up the temperature 50° every 10 minutes for over an hour to burn off any of the chemicals royals using the manufacturing my 4 stage air purifier, registered red for 50 minutes, then purple and then blue after several hours, so whatever fumes????️❓ were coming off of the oven, we’re definitely being filtered out..

This is my third Black & Decker toaster oven in 5 years... The Chinese manufacturer can't seem to get temperature regulation correct. A recent replacement showed a fatal error code and Black & Decker failed to honor the warranty on that particular unit stating the warranty began with the initial purchase not with the replacement unit. Nonsensical yet I purchased another one. Despite warnings in the manual, for those with a unit that fails to achieve higher temperatures, a piece of aluminum foil on the deck of the oven will boost temperatures significantly.

So Far, So Good
I have had a number of previous toaster ovens, but I am impressed with this one. I love the toast element included...now I don't have to constantly check my toast, just set and forget. I have not used my stove oven since I purchased this one. The only con I can speak of is the constant clicking noise while in use...it is not quiet. I normally leave my kitchen and come back when I hear the bell. Fingers crossed on how long it will hold up. I use daily for toast, once or twice a week for baking. Oh, another plus is the inside. I'm able to use my larger casserole dish with no problem! That's a big plus.

Great product....so far....
This unit has gotten a lot of use over last couple months as new oven stopped working, toaster died, and current toaster oven small and old as the hills. Fits our space well with room around it as gets quite hot (like all toaster ovens). Biggest concern is it is LOUD when starting up (seems to be only when using oven feature, not as toaster). Once warmed up not as loud. Worries me about how long it will last but so far so good. Cooks as expected. Toasts ok though does dry out the bread a bit so need to keep an eye on it. Looks really nice. Large front glass door is nice so can see food while cooking (hopefully doesn't discolour over time). Crumb tray underneath is perfect; very easy to remove and clean. Overall great product, just hope it lasts.

Underrated Transformer . 500w instead of 1500w. Absolute cheat
This product works on a 110V AC source . Amazon is supplying it with a local step down transformer from 230V to 110V to make it suitable for Indian conditions . The transformer supplied is not working . I made a complaint to Black & Decker who sent a technician and he rectified the transformer on his second visit . Within the first use , the main MCB tripped indicating overload or short circuit in the transformer . Black & Decker refuses to service / replace the transformer saying it’s not their product . It’s just been a month since delivery and issue isn’t getting resolved . Will Amazon come forward to sort out the mess ?

Works great for baking.
A lot of good things about it, but toaster doesn't work well at all. Bread gets hard n crisp, but no browning at all until so hard that you can't eat it. Yep my settings rechecked and accurate. It has no indication to show or sound, that oven has reached set temp. A bit annoying, but otherwise a good and very roomy toaster oven.

Worst Product Ever
We bought this item in Feb 2019. It worked fine for two months and then suddenly stopped heating. We called Black&Decker customer care at Bangalore and they sent a repairman at our home in Pune. He couldnt' even open the item to repair and concluded that it can't be fixed. We were told that this product is out of production now and can't get the spare parts anymore. Total waste of money ! Do not buy this .

I recommend this oven! Doable and durable!
It's a good oven that can put 4 slice of toast. You can put 6 slice but will be a little bit tight. The instruction is very easy to understand, and the oven heat very quickly. This is my 3rd oven with Black + Decker. I'm satisfied with this brand's oven. I also have this brand of rice cooker, it works well. I would recommend this oven to others! It's worth the price and durable!
