It's great!

It's powerful enough and works well. The design is easier to clean than other units I've had ( except for one awkward spot on the lid) and handle is vented better so that when you clean it the handle rinses and drys easily (again, that is a better design then other units I've owned). But for me I would say a decent food processor is the one kitchen device I don't want to live without and I use it almost daily. It's good for the price (there are better more expensive kinds of course) but one star off because some some elements of the design can be awkward ( e.g. having to remove the lid before you can remove the base) but good product that I'm pleased to have, thanks.

A Learning Curve

I'm enjoying using the food processor! It's easy to set up and easy to use with clear instructions. It's definitely a learning curve, trying to figure out what things are best made in the processor and what should be continued by hand. The only issue I'm having is my cheese caking up in the top when I shred, but it could be user error. I'll experiment with the size of cheese. Overall, a great product for an affordable price.

Not the solid machine my old B& D food processor was.

Machine works ok now but it is not the solid machine my old Black and Decker food processor was. I used it several times a week for years, I doubt this one lasts that long.

good for the price

This product is simple to operate. It is very effective for making my bean/avocado brownies which require quite a bit of grinding. It came quickly, was a good price, pretty sturdy and easy to clean! A good buy in my opinion.

A pleasant surprise!

At under $45 I was sure I'd be sending this back. Have used twice on the day it arrived and I'm impressed. The weight of unit is good plus it sticks well to counter; they even added a receptacle underneath where cord is stored. Neat! All parts and pieces seem to be quite sturdy and blades sharp; they even threw in a shredding blade. Operation is quiet and all functions work. This is being used in our winter home so I didn't want overpay. I own a high end Cuisinart back home and I find it too heavy plus the plastic parts break down and discintigrate over time. So for an awesome price I have a food processor that will do everything I need one for. So far so good. Also arrived in one day. Thanks Black & Decker!

Works as expected

My only dislike is that they covered the slicer with tape that is next to impossible to remove. I understand being safe, but please use something more easier to remove.

Works like a champ

Its a great little processor. Not much to say but that! I dont buy butter, I buy heavy cream and throw it in a food processor for a few minutes till I have my own butter (something you should definitely look into!). My last food processor REALLY struggled churning the heavy cream right when the butter happens. This one powers thru it!!! Just be careful of doing liquid only because the "liquid only" fill line is about 1/3 of the entire bowl. Dont be like me and make a HUGE mess filling that thing to the top with liquid, turning it on and it starts bubbling heavy cream out of the bottom. Wife used it to grind up veggies for homemade pesto sauce or quickly dice up carrots and onions for stews. Works perfectly every time!!! Great machine!!!!
