Hard to keep clean.
Works. Been on non stop for a year. I leave it on year round. Only complaint is the big grid plugs up bad. All my past lights have never got this plugged up. But a little bit of air compressor air and it blows the bugs out.

Life changing! Effective, effortless, worth the price!
Great investment, totally worth the price! We recently moved out of the city to a more rural area. The size and quantities of mosquitos out here is astonishing. Before owning this amazing machine enjoying our New beautiful backyard was impossible. we decided to hang it from the awning close to our patio set, it is large but lightweight and a Standard size J hook holds it firmly. We decided to keep it running constantly. it’s been going strong for over a month and holding up well. It is extremely effective at eliminating the mosquitoes completely! The bright light attracts them, The crackling sound of their demise is satisfying and relieving. The larger mosquitoes typically fall to the ground but some of the smaller ones do get stuck inside. since owning it we have had to clean it out a couple of times, it’s fairly easy to do. The tray just slides out, a quick tap and done. The added cleaning brush really does help a lot. I have no need for citronella candles or any other form of deterrent anymore. Overall extremely happy with this purchase! has been life-changing.

Mass Murder Machine
We have a private camp property. We're near a cottage'y area, but our property is a bit set apart from there others, where there is not much other light nearby. So when we have a light on at night, inside or out, every bug within a couple acres is on it like white on rice! Certain times of the year this is really problematic, as we couldn't even get into our camper at night without bringing a couple dozen flying friends in with us. We purchased this bug zapper because of the good reviews, and that it is an outdoor unit. The instructions say it can withstand most outdoor conditions, and only needs to be brought in during torrential rains. The instructions also explain to set it up away from where people congregate, to draw the bugs away from that area. So we added a shepherd's hook to our electric box area, and plugged it in and hung it up there, away from our outdoor sitting area and camper doors. As soon as we plugged it in, ZAP. And the ZAPS just kept on coming! One issue we did have is after the first night, the lightbulb was complete PLASTERED with SO MANY BUGS. This is good, but also bad, in that they're supposed to fall to the ground (we removed the bottom tray). So we used the brush the light came with to clear the bulb. But we certainly didn't want to have to do that every day. After a few nights of use, the bugs started sticking less, and dropping more. Perhaps the bulb just needs a little bit of wear-and-tear for the bug corpses to fall off more easily. So we are very happy with this bug zapper, and really hope it will have good longevity in causing mass bug murder at our camp property for much time to come.

Ok soooo
The media could not be loaded. The first couple of days that thang was zapping! Over the course of the last 3 weeks….not so much. BUT, is that because the insect count has decreased? The insects have become smarter? I don’t really know. What I do know is I still have no more confidence about hanging outside now than I did before I made this purchase other than I have a purple night light outside now ????. I uploaded a video so you can see what I saw when I ventured outside to add to this review. I think there’s a moth in there ordering a drink at the bar. Good luck y’all!

Surprisingly effective
I got this in the hope it would trap some hornets chewing on our pergola. I figured even if it didn't lure them in, it might catch a few mosquitoes at the least. Boy, did it ever! I almost never write reviews, but this bad boy has killed more mosquitoes in a week than I have in my entire lifetime. So far no wasps or hornets, but plenty of other bugs trapped. First picture is after the first day, second and third pics show the accumulation from day 2 and 3. Hopefully it holds up long term, but so far I'm very happy with the results. Plus, it looks nice hanging from our pergola, just like a decorative lantern.

Doesn’t last
Lasted 6 months, thought the bulbs burned out so I brought a set of 2 for $19.98 still not working. Waste of money! I am updating my review based on their customer support. I was about to trash the zapper, but decided to call the customer service number and and report the failure. I was pleasantly surprised that they are sending me a replacement.

Funciona bastante bien
Llevo un mes desde que lo tengo y lo uso a diario y acabo con un enjambre de zancudos que tenia a un lado de la entrada de mi casa, cabe recalcar que no todos los bichos se sienten atraído a el y caen pero si ha menguado bastante el tamaño del enjambre, casi a desaparecerlo. La lampara también es bonita y combina bien con la fachada de la entrada, así que por mientras estoy completamente satisfecho, cualquier cosa que le salga se los haré saber

Muy buen matabichos
Hace muy bien su trabajo..lo único incómodo es tener que desarmarlo mediante tornillos para poder limpiar todos los cadáveres. Por el resto estoy muy contento, de todos los moscos que tenia queda 1 o 2 rezagados en menos de 1 mes de uso diario, únicamente lo conecto en las noches y en zonas oscuras. Mis perros duermen felices. Es de plástico de buena calidad y mas grande de lo que esperaba. Pesa poco para el tamaño que tiene.

Funciona y es "bonito"
Me gustó el diseño, es "bonito" lo que permite integrarse con la decoración que tengas, funciona muy bien y cuando los insectos entran no hace tanto ruido como algunas otras resistencias que he probado, ademas al ser de color negro tambien ayuda a disimular los insectos que ya está adentro.

Había comprado otro y no funcionó, compre este y muy buen producto, controla la cantidad de mosquitos, solo si hace ruido cuando mata algún bicho de que “truena”

Broke after 30 minutes
I set the device on the table in bedroom. After 30 minutes the device stopped working and a strong smell of burned electronics came out of it. Can’t even initiate a return cause Amazon does not show that i receive the unit yet.
