Good price for the combo

This is my second B&D weed whacker and first of the blower. My old weed whacker lasted 8 years and whacked it last weed this spring. This is the exact same model. Works just fine and battery lasts the entire time I edge my lawn. The blower is not strong, but it get the dust and grass clippings off of the driveway and out of the garage. You won't be blowing piles of leaves with this blower, but it does the job I purchased it for.

Just ok.

This was a great buy for me since my yard is small. The only issue is I feel like I could have found something better especially for the trimmer. It was hard to get the low manicured look I wanted. I was expecting a blade but it's the stringy trimmer which is not the best for my hard. I'll still need to get something else. The blower was ok and light weight my 14yr old enjoyed using it. The battery will need to be charged out the packet just fyi I tried using and it was weak so make sure you charge it. Overall for a small yard this is ok but I wouldn't buy again.

Does the job, sorta!

So I definitely have to say that this sucker does the job. It's pretty light weight and easy to use. The string on the weed eater last for along time, and automatically feeds. The blower is very light but tends to move the leaves, it is not the best if you have high expectations. My biggest complaint about this is the battery life. When using the weed eater, the battery last long enough for me to do most of my yard on 1 of them, but sometimes I do have to use both. When using the blower, the battery sucks!! I don't think I can even get a good 7 minutes of use from it. Other than that I think this is good if you need something to get the job done and your budget is not too high.

It's lightweight and it works

This combo is perfect for my yard. I was able to trim 582 feet and "sweep" 266 feet on one battery. Both items are very light and easy to handle. It's true the sweeper has just enough power to blow grass clippings, but that's all I needed it for. It was powerful enough to clear the damp grass clippings from my first mow of the season. Even if you don't use the sweeper you get a 1.5Ah battery which you can use to extend the power of the trimmer. Buying the combo trimmer and sweeper with two batteries was cheaper than buying the trimmer and a spare battery.

My first sweeper and trimmer

I don't have any trees or lawn to care for, but I have a large patio and a neighbor behind me with two large redwoods that drop needles like crazy. The sweeper works to clear off the patio, my walkways, and front porch. I've only used it once and I found it a little hard to direct the sweeper--maybe it takes some practice. It isn't as intuitive as I thought it would be. But for the price it does the job much faster than using a broom. I'm considering putting a small lawn in the backyard and I think the trimmer will come in handy then!

It's okay

The blower is useless! You'd be better off blowing leaves by mouth lol. But the weed Wacker is pretty good so far.

Extremely Good Quality

This was an exceptional buy! The lightness of the products makes this perfect for those who have arthritis or even mobility issues. I was amazed at how powerful the product was and the battery lasted long enough to do 3/4 of my property. I just purchased my home and it was in need of a bit of work and I am very happy with my Purchase!!!

A bit underpowered, but does the trick

For my regular suburban yard (6,000 sq ft with a bunch of edges), one full charge will work well but it does start to slow down near the end. Like others say, maybe an hour. Very tall or very thick grass is a struggle with this, but manageable. The sweeper is definitely not a leaf blower, but fine for clearing the steps and driveway from lawn clippings and debris. I really like being free of cords, and the extra battery adds piece of mind.

The string is too thin and battery doesn't last very long

The trimmer is fine but the string is a bit too thin and breaks quickly so you end up working with a shorter string which is less efficient. I keep driving it down to have a full length of the string and it works fine then but not for long. The sweeper is fine, not very powerfull but I didn't expect it to be at that price. The battery doesn't last long enough for me. You absolutely need 2 batteries with this kit. Overall disappointed, I should have paid more to get better performances.

Good buy

Happy to have gotten this one on sale. This set is a great pair - trimmer + blower. A few things: - the trimmer does its job for the most part (not great on the thick blades of grass so don't get it if this is your lawn) - the blower is no powerhouse so don't expect it to blow clumps of wet grass; works well enough on the small pinecones - it comes with 2 battery packs which is GREAT since we have other B&D tools (for this alone, it's a great buy for the sale price)

More of a weed tickler than a trimmer.

The blower is great, good for small jobs. Was impressed with how it handled. The weed “trimmer” was another story. I couldn’t even get half my yard done with the two batteries it came with and one I already had. I watched as it spun and spun on weeds and they sat there like it was waving at them. There just isn’t any power to this unit to get the job done. I returned this set, but I will look at getting another B&D Blower.

Great for minor jobs and you need these 2 batteries

You have to buy 2 batteries for this kind of machine so I would not hesitate to purchase this product. For the same price as buying an extra battery and charger, you get the Sweeper. It works great for SMALL domestic jobs - trimming grass and small plants but won't be effective for stems that are more than a quarter-inch. IMPORTANT: Make sure you don't let the wire come loose in the bobin because the autofeed system won't work.
