Smells so fresh and clean!

I recently bought a new vacuum because my old one wasn't working and the attachment for the hose broke. My mom lent me my grandpa's old vacuum but it was too bulky and heavy. I bought a Bissell that said it was lightweight. It came with this febreze filter. It smells so good, but right out of the package it was a bit strong. I recommend opening a window the first couple of time you use it. The suction of the vacuum wasn't effected at all! It was a brand new vacuum and took me a minute or two to figure out where it even went, but was able to install the filter in about 5 seconds. Very satisfied!

Light, cheap and works unbelievably well. Try it!

This machine struck me as very flimsy when I took it out of the box, but when I started vacuuming with it, I discovered it works really well. It picked up my cat's fur and rolled it into a big ball. I was amazed! I realized that feeling flimsy didn't mean it didn't work well. In fact, it is much easier to use because it is lighter. I've had it for almost one year now and it is still working like a charm picking up that fur and whatever else is on the floors.It is easy to empty the dirt and to clean the chamber. I highly recommend you try this one. I have been just delighted with it.

Your nose will thank you for using these Febreze filters

Unless you enjoy the smell of burnt hair and your grandma's dusty attic, make sure you keep these refills in stock. After inserting a new Febreze filter, using your vacuum is instantly transformed from "vacuuming a room in 30 seconds because that is how long you can hold your breath," in to "vacuuming each room 5 times just because it smells so good." You might even use it to vacuum your dog because it smells FABULOUS! (Use on pets is not recommended, especially hamsters). Fresh scent probably lasts about 3 months, but don't put it in your pocket and expect to cover up your nasty body odor. Just take a shower please!

The best feature available on a vacuum is a febreeze filter

This literally keeps the entire room from smelling like pet hair and dirt after running the vacuum. I went a couple years using the normal filters after the original febreeze filter ran out. Never again.

Bissell filter does not fit or work.

I have bought a Bissell filter to fit over the vacuum cleaner exhaust, to filter dust particles, so they would not get back to the atmosphere (obvious, so far). Per the information on the website, the filter should have fit my vacuum cleaner model. Imagine my surprise when, instead of an expected foam sleeve that would fit around the cleaner exhaust inside the cyclone, I received a rectangular piece of foam that did not fit anywhere within the cleaner. Neither were there any instructions attached, as to where the "filter" should be placed. I have looked the vacuum cleaner over very closely and found nothing. BTW: I am an engineer by education and experience, and dealt with equipment like this throughout my career. Needless to say, I returned this not-very-useful piece of foam. P.S. I have been wondering, why Bissell does not seem to be selling those foam sleeves that allow to catch the dust that does not get collected at the bottom of the cyclone -- that's exactly how dust would be collected at the shop-vac. For now, I have fashioned one of those filters from a piece of paper towel of high air permeability, and two rubber bands; and it does indeed collect dust that would, otherwise, escape.

Easy to install!

Perfect model & fit for my Bissell Aeroswift vacuum cleaner, and all I had to do was slide out a drawer and toss the old one to install the new! Super simple

Unexpected shape

This is a thin square filter, which confused me at first as my original filter was a big fat circle pad. I have the Bissell aeroswift. it covers the hole that dirt would filter thru though so it is technically big enough. Smell wasn't really noticeable. Would be 5 stars if these replacements were the original shape and thickness

Not the correct filter for Aeroswift

Unfortunately this filter is not for Aeroswift - it is completely the wrong shape in fact (square rather than circular like genuine Aeroswift filter). It is too bad, because Aeroswift are hard to find - the Bissel website sells them, but the shipping costs more than the filter itself.
