This is good stuff and well worth the money.

This product needs better directions, I was like a blind man out there. You must wear rubber gloves, safety glasses, and a vapor mask. I left the first application on for about 10 minutes then rinsed it off. It worked but not well so I put another coat on then where it was spotted or had streaks I hit it again. I was doing an aluminum truck bed 6.5 feet long. On my third coat it started to slightly bubble and look pretty good so I stopped applying the product and waited about 15 minutes then rinsed it and put it in my shop. I noticed that it wasn't that great and I had used about 3 quarts. I came back in about 3 hours and it was 100% better even the little cracks that were hard to scrub, it really shines! I used a spray bottle to apply the product, followed by a number of brushes so I could get in all the tight places. For cleanup I used soap and water for my hands and tools and just plain water for the flatbed and rims. I got a little on the paint but it didn't hurt anything after I rinsed the painted area I just re-waxed it ….. good as new!

Not bad, but order more than expected for Pontoons

Our pontoon was in the water for three months and I used this product to clean the logs before winter storage. I used a pump sprayer to apply on our Pontoon logs according to the directions. At first, there was minimal change so I reapplied, scrubbed and repeated until I was satisfied with the area and then ultimately ran out of the cleaner. I purchased two gallons for a 24’ pontoon and realistically should have purchased two more. I will still polish the logs in the Spring and if I use a cleaner again, I may look at other options. What I liked was that it is supposedly less harmful to the environment; considering I have well water at our summer house, it was important that I used a product that wouldn’t harm our water supply.

Didn't work.

We watch videos of people using this product and it worked for them. So we ordered it but when my husband went to clean his truck rims this stuff barely did anything. 4 coats later and they werent as clean as they should have been like in the videos. His rims were really dirty, so I'm assuming it is only meant for wheels that arent that dirty.

Yes!! It works and got here fast!!!

Follow the instructions!! This product is exactly what you need for aluminum trailers and boats. You will need 3 gallons per side... if you are doing your trailer as well. My boat looks amazing but I didn't get enough so I have a before and after look right now. Getting 3 more and I'll be set with a clean boat this season.

Very impressed! Unbiased Review Here!

Very impressed! I haven't cleaned my pontoons for 13 years! I actually prided myself that pontoon boats really have no hull maintenance! Then I decided to install external LED accent lights. It was time to clean those ugly tubes! It took a few applications, but soon the lake grime was gone! Working as the instructions state, I applied the chemical in about 3ft sections, working from the bottom up. Spray, brush, wait ... repeat. I didn't see any "foaming action" until it had a chance to cut the major grime. It was the third application (in about 15 minutes) that seemed to produce the white foam I was expecting to see. That's when the magic really started to happen! Take a look at the picture! Before and after! Boom! I will definitely buy this product again ... and I will probably try to keep up with the cleaning now that I have a good method.

Disappointed but still hopeful.

Doesn't work as well as my last gallon. Not sure if it was because I used it in the summer before and this time used it in the winter. Just didnt clean as well. Left skin blotchy. Waiting for a good warm day to try it again to see if thats the problem. Not giving up on this product because it really worked before.

Did not work AT ALL on my pontoon

I bought this instead of Aluma Bright, because it was in stock and could come next day. This stuff was terrible. It simply did not work. I put it on straight, even scrubbed it in, and all it did was turn the clean metal white, and did absolutely nothing on the stained part. Sprayed a section and just left it, and it never did work. A total waste of $30. Bought a gallon of Aluma Bright, and it works almost before you can spray it off. Do yourself a favor, and get the good stuff!

It does work!

we bought an aluminum fishing boat that had been sitting out in someone's yard for about eight years. You can imagine the tree sap, dirt and grunge that was on the hull of the boat. This stuff ate right through it all! Yes it does leave a little bit of chalky white film, we just used some wd40 on a paper towel and poof it was gone. On the important parts like the console we will be using the polish after cleaning. If you are using this on polished aluminum you will have to use a polish when you are done cleaning but this product does what it says it will do CLEAN !

Did the job but needs LOTS of elbow grease...

Contrary to what many reviews have noted, this liquid does not work very well for very dirty pontoons on a boat. Unless you are willing to put in some major elbow grease, and use a LOT of liquid (ex. 1 full gallon for only the side facing out on a 22’ pontoon), you may be disappointed. My pontoons were quite dirty, and I went over them at least 8x with the product, plus scrubbing in between. I think the product is probably good as part of a regular annual maintenance, but if the pontoons have been in the water for a long time, you may be disappointed.

Works real good. Does a good job. Use lots.

Works real good, as long as you do a small area at a time. About a 2 - 3 square foot area at a time is best, then move on. Used it on my cow catcher bumper on my tank truck. Bumper was 4 years old and never been done. Cleaned it up real good. Need to buff it after with a little aluminum polish to get a nice shine. Turns the aluminum white after but it is only a residue and wipes off with a cloth. Use polish after to get a shine.

So easy to use! This stuff is amazing and Biodegradable! Use the Aluminum polish after cleaning and it subdued the shine...???? next years cleaning I’ll be able to shave with them!

Didn’t work very well

Product was very disappointing compared to others I have used in the past. I wash my aluminum trailer every 2 years looks like new. This product hardly did anything, I will have redo the job with another product. A waste of time and money.
