Great hikers
I love these! So comfy, sized perfectly & has great traction on the bottom. Very light weight too. They aren’t waterproof though. I’m buying another pair different color ????

Cute and comfortable boots
I believe that you can never have enough shoes in your wardrobe and these boots are a great and comfortable option for everyday boots. They are cute and match with everything and they seem to fit true to size. They have a rugged bottom, so they have good traction and are good for walks and short hikes, but I definitely wouldn't use these for actual backpacking, they are more fashionable than functional for hardcore hiking. Overall, these are good quality and sturdy boots for everyday wear, but I would opt for actual hiking boots for anything more intense than a paved trail.

Pretty nice hiking shoes ????
These shoes are actually my first pair of high tops ever. I never buy them because I love and am so comfortable in the low cut ankle sneakers and shoes. These shoes are nice. I actually like the color a lot. I wear a lot of black pants and I thought these shoes would pair really well with my black pants and would be great for the daily long walks i take with my son through the fall, winter, and spring seasons. (We did like somewhere very mild and warm year round). These shoes are not the easiest to slide on. There’s little to no support from the shoes itself as I try to force my foot in. Again new to high tops. The entire shoes is made out of a canvas material which is very very comfortable it just doesn't make these shoes the easiest to slide on or off. Once they’re on they are very very comfortable. The interior sole has a wonderful cushion layer that makes these shoes very comfortable to wear right out of the box. When it comes to wearing these shoes, I do like the feel of the canvas material. It’s nice to be able to wear them as a loose fit around my ankle or to be ankle to tie them tight for those longer walks. The bottom sole feels thick and durable to be able to hold up to legitimate hiking. Although with normal wear I do expect these shoes to get a little darker in color i wouldn’t expect them to get as dirty as the caramel color ones. I also love the green contract with my black yoga pants. I did order these a size up as I usually do order my shoes a t least a half size up because my feet are a smidge wider at the ball of my foot. I’m not entirely sure I needed to order these ones a size up as the canvas provides a natural conforming fit and and comfortable stretch or give to it. The benefit for me ordering a size up is actually more feasible when it comes to being able to get the shoes on and off easier instead of the normal feeling and comfort from the day to day wear. These do fit quite well and veery comfortably. They’re not by any means too big by ordering a half size up but it’s definitely not something you need to do because the canvas material is naturally accommodating. So I would say these do fit exactly as expected. All in all these are great walking and hiking shoes. They offer some level of ankle support for the longer hikes and they’re incredibly comfortable to wear. And as opposed to most keens or other hiking brad shoes these offer a bit more style which I do appreciate. Looking forward to being able to take these out on an actual hike as my son gets a little older. My favorite thing about these shoes is the color and how comfortable they are to wear with out even needed to break them in. I really like these shoes and would definitely recommend them! Rated 4/5 stars specifically because they’re just not the easiest to slide on or off.

Cute casual boots
I've been wearing the Billabong brand for 27 years--I wear casual clothing again and again because it's just effortless, and the clothing lasts for years. I got the beige version of these boots to pair with dresses or jeans similar to my docs. I got a 7.5 and a half in these Billabong boots, which run a little small. I will not be able to wear thick socks with these. And I broke a nail trying to jam my foot into them. Once I jammed my foot into them, they were pretty comfortable. They are canvas and rubber. And while I wouldn't necessarily wear them hiking, they'll hold up around town and camping.

Decent around-town shoe
When the description of this shoe says "backpacking", Billabong clearly means "has some design elements associated with an actual backpacking shoe". There is no way someone would actually backpack in these shoes. They're fine for a light day hike, but are really a cute, urban everyday shoe. They don't have a lot of arch or ankle support and are more along the lines of a Converse high-top as far as what you should expect ergonomically. With all of that out of the way, these are certainly very cute. I got the khaki color and they look good with a pair of jeans.

Wear with socks!
Ordered these for when I’m going on my beachside adventures. The fit was perfect, ordered a size 10 and i wear a 9.5. They are a canvas material, with a strong sole. I would recommend wearing these with long socks because the material is not very comfortable on the ankles, but it is soft enough to be broken in after a few days. I would rate these a 7/10 for comfortability. The soles are very comfortable and soft, a little clunky to walk in but after a couple days it was better!
