Great Kitchen Scale
I have been using this scale for about a week to see how it compares to my old one. The previous scale I was using was just a normal scale that I purchased for around $20. It’s nothing fancy and doesn’t have any of the extra features that this scale has so I can’t compare that. The scale runs on 4 AAA batteries which it comes with though at first, I thought they were dead until I realized they were covered in plastic. The surface of the scale is glossy including the touch sensitive buttons which makes it easy to clean after use. When you first power it the display reads “HELLO” which I thought was nice. This scale has standard features such as tare which is used to set the empty weight of a container, as well as a few different units of measurement which includes grams, lb / oz and what I thought was nice, ML of water or milk. The calorie counter is also nice and from what I can tell is fairly accurate (see pictures), offering estimated calories for chicken, butter, sugar, flour, egg, chocolate and beef based on weight. I tested the calorie counter with butter and sugar since I had them readily available and both were surprisingly accurate. This is nice if someone is baking a cake and wants to get a rough estimate of calories (which I would never do if I was eating cake). The feature I found to be my favorite was that it can estimate ML of water or milk based on weight and I know you can just look it up but I’m lazy. This is nice because if I don’t have a measuring cup handy I can just pour the liquid into a cup and figure out how much I need (just make sure you zero out the scale with the container first). Other than that it’s pretty much your average kitchen scale which is now my new favorite scale (which isn’t saying much because I was not too picky with them to begin with). I would highly recommend this product to anyone who is thinking about purchasing this and I might even be picking another one up for a Christmas present. -DISCLAIMER- I received this product for free or at a discount in exchange for an honest review.

No Complaints
I use this for cooking and for weighing smaller backpacking items. It works well for its intended purpose and I have no complaints.

Really great scales! Fast to use. They remember your settings, are quick responding & accurate.
I wss hesitant to buy these as I wss unsure if they would be fast enough to use, but they are great. The message when you turn them on only lasts long enough for you to pick something up and place it on them - around 1.5-2 seconds. So the they are pretty much instant on. I do not need the calorific calculator and it almost put me off, but I found they were all separate buttons and did not impede using them as regular scales. One great feature is they remember which setting yoh had them on last, so you don't need to switch through settings every time you power them on. If you have set them to measure grams and let them power-off, then the next time you power them on they'll still be set to measure grams ... which saves a lot of time! The backlit LCD screen is very high contrast with large digits. The display is very easy to read with its light-blue text on dark-blue background. I love that the entire top of the scales, including the touch-sensitive buttons, is all tempered glass. It makes keeping it clean very easy. They won't measure anything below 5-6grams - this is because of the automatic power-saving. I have not found my scales to waver between measurements like one review I read. The readings on my scales are stable and react very fast... perhaps there has been a firmware change between the current and older model? I love them. I just hope that neither my wife or I happen to drop them!

Great Scale, Eats Batteries
If, like me, you use this to weigh three meals a day, this scale just eats batteries like you wouldn't believe. I've had it a year and I think I need to replace the batteries every three months. I've reached the point where I"m probably going to buy something else, although I do love the teal color and how easily the glass wipes clean.

Food scale
Nice size. I like that you can put a bowl on it and then reset to zero to get an accurate weight. I also like that has English units as well as metric. Pretty on my counter.

A good choice of food weighing scales
It is hard to get excited about weighing scales, but I'd say this one is better than the cheapy Salter scales. I've replaced several of those over the years. The Ozeri Touch III seems better built. I like these features: * Entire top surface is wipeable. There are no push-buttons where water can get inside and eventually cause failure. * The display is *extremely* easy to read. It's bright! * Popular sized AAA batteries are used. No messing about with watch batteries. Having said that, there are a few things I'm neutral about, and wish they were better. Firstly, the update is slightly laggy. It can take several seconds for the measurement to eventually settle. Secondly, I'm not too happy that when turning on the unit, nothing should be placed on the unit. It would be better if the device would auto-tare (set to zero) if the user placed a container on the Ozeri Touch III prior to switching it on. As it is, I have to mentally remember to switch it on first, then place the container, then hit the Tare button. It's a small but annoying faff. Nevertheless, it's minor and the benefits far outweigh these small issues. In summary, it's the nicest food weighing scales that I have found so far, and I enjoy using it. I have used it for several months now, and it has been reliable.

Love it!
Really lovely and sleek looking item, goes beautifully in a modern kitchen. Works well just wish better selection of items to calculate calories instantly. For other foods just go on Google or Fitbit website that has a calorie checker on a wide selection of foods. Very good equipment for meal prep soo handy.

Very solid, accurate, responsive, and feature rich scale. Would buy again.
So far this seems to be an excellent product. The buttons were surprisingly responsive which was my main concern before receiving the scale. It's great to have a solid flat glass face from a cleaning and maintenance standpoint but I was worried that the touch sensitive buttons would be hard to use with wet hands etc. Thankfully, they work well. The scale display is big and bright with great viewing angles. It's very user friendly and easy to use, especially surprising since it performs calorie counting functions in addition to the standard scale functions. It's slightly thicker than I expected (although still pretty thin overall) but this is likely due to the AAA batteries that it uses. A worthy trade off to avoid those expensive coin batteries. Pros: 1. Looks great and feels solid. Quality build overall. 2. Uses AAA batteries. These are much cheaper and more commonly available than coin batteries. 3. 10 KG or 22 pound capacity! This is double what many other scales offer and allows you to weight a whole turkey or larger items. 4. Responsive, lag free operation. 5. Simple, intuitive interface. I'd never want a scale that required an instruction manual to operate and this one performs well here. 6. Large, bright, easy to read display. 7. The entire surface can be used for weighing, even overtop the display and buttons for larger items. 8. Accuracy seems good. (Albeit with my own limited tests.) I will be adding to this review once I've tested this further. 9. Calorie counter feature. Also weighs in fluid ounces or ml (i.e. will tell you the volume of liquid in a container if you don't have a measuring glass.) Cons: 1. This is really being a little picky but while it displays in both pounds, ounces and grams, it doesn't say KG when it reaches 1000 grams. It's really just a matter of inserting a decimal point once the weight reaches 1000g so it would read 1.000KG. Maybe this is only my preference and really not a big deal but it's about the only thing I would change. 2. This is not really a problem but more of a feature request: Please add a hold button to the front edge that would allow people to weigh large items that cover the display and allow the device to hold the weight on the display for 5-10 seconds after the large item is removed. Great scale overall. I would definitely buy this again. ***Update: I tested it with a 200 gram brass weight and it weighed in perfectly at 200 grams. I was pleasantly surprised considering the cost of this scale. I expected it to be close but not bang on.***
