Locknut not brass, 1-1/8 not 1 inch
These work fine, but the locknut is not brass ( unless it’s chrome plated) and the nuts are 1-1/8 not the “standard” 1 inch that my older shanks use (so these don’t fit my wrench) Still, they work just fine. They just aren’t exactly as listed

Great for keezer build
Needed to add another tap to my keezer. The shank is just long enough to fit through the 2 x 4 used for mounting, but not too long that it sticks out on the inside.

Beer tap shaft
These shafts are very well built. The only problem is that I ordered the ones with the nipple end so that I could simply put the beer line on the nipple without a screw-on connector and 3 out of the 4 were like this but 1 of the 4 came without the nipple end. Thankfully I have a line with the connector already attached so this will not be a deal breaker but t would have been nice to get all 4 shafts the same. I'm setting up a keezer and wanted them all to be the same. A bit anal I know but what can I say? I would definitely recommend these but be aware that you might not get all 4 the same.

Works as advertised, never leaks and easy to install.
This product works great. Holds pressure, never leaks and is reasonably priced. Looks and feels just the same as the $65 version of this product that I was looking at buying at my local homebrew shop. This product gave me room enough to put through 2.5" of wood with a perfect amount of room on the back for adjustment. Just be careful when installing as the machined threads can be a bit sharp, but this is also the case with just about all the stainless machined parts I've handled.

My collar on my kegerator is 2 1/2 inches which seemed like enough based on a picture posted by another reviewer
Exact dimension on effective depth would be more helpful than overall depth for this 3 1/2" shank. My collar on my kegerator is 2 1/2 inches which seemed like enough based on a picture posted by another reviewer. I had to take a spade bit and drill out 1/8" on the back to make a spot for the nut to thread on (although 3/32" would have been sufficient). The thickness of door/collar that this can be mounted to is 2 3/8" - you lose a total of 1 1/8" of depth from the nut on the back, the black front piece, and the front attachment to the faucet off the stated dimensions. Hope this helps people ordering this in the future.

Best for keezer conversions
Perfect length for keezer conversions. Used these for 2 different conversions. My latest has three taps. Shorter shanks might not clear the wood width and you get cooling loss.

Check your wall size before ordering!
Ordered three of these before I built the collar for the keezer. Front wall ended up being 2 1/4 inches (1- 2x6 and 1- 1x8). Drilled out a 7/8" hole for a snug fit for the shank. Length is just enough for that size wall and left about a 1/2" to tighten the rear nut to secure the shank. These easily accepted the Perlick 630 faucets. If your wall is thicker than about 2 1/2" my recommendation is to get the 4 1/2" shank instead of these.

Beer shank
I had purchased 3 1/2" shanks originally but after putting on the wood outer layer on my keezer those were about an inch short. Since I couldn't find any that were 4 1/2" I settled for these. I have no problem with the extra length. And all 4 of these came with the nipple attached to the shank (which is exactly what I wanted). Overall they are what they are, they do what they need to do. What more can be said for beer shanks?

Works
Works for my SUP, you need a large volume compressor for it to be really useful though.
