Quiet but flimsy build leads to splashes

I don't have experience with other humidifiers so take it with a grain of salt. Perhaps in comparison this one shines above the others. On the bright side - the humidifier works well, and has several light and noise settings which are very good, especially if you have a sleeping baby in the room. Also, it supports both US and European voltage, which is a huge deal, so you can easily plug it in anywhere, and you only need a tiny plug adapter from US to what ever is your local plug scheme. To be improved: - The way the water tank works, is that the top part is taken off, and turn upside down to fill with water. It has a valve so that when you turn it back upright the water doesn't leak until you put it back in it's seat in the bottom part. However, what happens once it's connected, is that the valve opens and the water fills a cavity in the bottom part (which is then launched to the mist creation). The issue here is that the water moves between the top part, bottom part, and again the top part, so that if you shake or bump into the device, the water leaks through the seam between the parts. Even worse is that when you take it apart, there's a short while when the valve is still open, and the bottom cavity is full, so water is very likely to leak or splash. Also, while it looks very pretty , the plastic (and all the parts) feel kind of cheap and very light. While this isn't a huge problem, this adds to the issue of the device being very easy to knock or to disassemble by mistake, which leads to water splashes / leakage.

Simple, quiet humidifier

I bought this Beurer humidifier on recommendation from my favorite dermatologist on YouTube and it does not disappoint! It’s very quiet, I love that it doesn’t have a filter you have to replace, it’s a great value, and it looks nice and sleek on my desk. Awesome product!

Great Design and utility!

I purchased this humidifier for my daughter because her dermatologist recommended so. I am familiar with Beurer so I went on their page and found it. The first thing that I attracted me was the design. other humidifiers I had looked at looked bulky. Then I read the reviews and was more encouraged to buy it. When it arrived, the humidifier was in its box but not inside another packing box. the shipping label was right on the Beurer box was seemed strange to me. it's the first time I see this and was worried that the humidifier was damaged. I unpacked it, it was fairly easy to set up and use. The only nuisance is that every time I have to fill the tank, I have to unplug the base and empty it too cuz there's a little bit of water left... other than that, it works ok. Also, I added a few drops of essential oils and I am pleased with the smell...it's not too strong... I am very happy with this brand and I already have other items on my wish list from Beurer.

stylish and simple to use.

This is my first humidifier and I've been using it for a week now and my home feel much less stuffy and my skin is less dry. I really like the infuser / aroma pad, I feel like i will use much less of of essential oils by not dropping them into the water, also it means there is no left over scent form previous uses. They supply 15 additional pads which is great.

Most elegant humidifier I have, very functional, but could be improved

I have 5 different humidifiers and this is the most elegant for sure and one of the best values as well. However there is room for improvement. Firstly, the mist nozzle on top of the unit is difficult to turn and falls out when you flip the reservoir to fill it up. Keep that in mind so you don't step on it, otherwise not a big deal. Secondly, the mist is discharged almost vertically regardless of the orientation of the nozzle. The form here won over function, it should have been longer protruding nozzle. Third, the unit has high and low setting, but the fan remains at the same speed, it just seems that ultrasonic part switching to low power. This helps with bubbling of water, but does not reduce the whir of the fan. Despite these small annoyances this unit is functional and produces a strong flow of a mist, very fine mist, so there is no visible water on surfaces underneath it.

Funky smell

The machine itself is fantastic but almost every time I use with oil it gives off a very strong odour that smells like piss that’s even stronger that the oil scent, I wash after every use but the only way I discover that works to get rid of the smell is to wash and let run with warm water before actual use. This is very exhausting especially since I own another brand that requires no cleaning and yet never had any issue. Even on the lowest setting it never last through the night. 5-6 hours

Efficace, facile à utiliser

Cet humidifacteur n'a que trois modes: haut, bas, nuit. La mode nuit fonctionne sans lumière, c'est très convenable pour la chambre. On peut y ajouter des gouttes d'huile aromathérapie, ou non. La réservoir dure 8-10 heures, et l'humidfacteur cesse automatiquement quand la resevoir est vide.

BEST PURCHASE EVER

I RECEIVED IT YESTERDAY AND SET IT UP ACCORDING TO INSTRUCTIONS (SIMPLE). I AM TOTALLY SATISFIED AS IT IS SILENT. LETS OFF A LARGE MIST ON HI AND I USED AN ORANGE CITRUS SCENT. PUT IN OUR BEDROOM LAST NIGHT AND PUT ON NIGHT MODE. IT SHUTS OFF BY ITSELF. IMPRESSIVE. THANK YOU BEURER.
