Fun

Fun runner. We used it for a Luau Birthday Party. I wish had let it sit in the sun longer before the party though - we wanted it hot for them to do a "fire walk" on it. It was for an hour and still fine to the touch, so at least on the upside, it doesn't' get too hot to fast under the sun, if that is a concern for you. It's a cute idea though and we are thinking of putting some jumping jacks underneath it the next time we try it - ha!

Cute but doesn't stick

So I will say design wise they nailed it, it is very vibrant and looks just like hot coals. On the other hand the tape that is under neath that is used to stick down isn't very good, it kept on coming up during the party so I finally just ended up moving it out of the main traffic area. Great visually but doesn't stick well.

Not what I expected

The design was nice and the material is sturdy BUT it’s SHORT. This was not 10ft.

Fun!

Used it on our deck as a walk way to the tiki bar! Worked great and held up awesome with the wind and water from the kids walking on it after the pool! Very durable. Just a tip the tape is very strong and was hard to remove from the deck boards!

Wish it was a little sturdier, but not bad for the price. Use your own double sided tape or Velcro strips to stick to carpet.

Hot Sticky Lava!

Loved it. A hit at the party! Some mentioned that it's a one and done kind of prop, but mine survived a lot of foot traffic in front of the photostop just fine and I will be using it again. However be careful about the provided double sided tape. It's still stuck on my hardwood floors (3 months later). I'm sure if I got down and scraped I could get it all up but it will take some effort.

Do Not Use Indoors - BAD ADHESIVE

The Hot Coals Runner is a cool party decoration - we had a 'Survivor' themed party and it looked great, however the adhesive that was included as part of the runner should have a warning to not use on indoor flooring. The double sided sticky table was almost impossible to remove from our hardwood floors. NOT COOL. With the help of an adhesive remover and quite a bit of scrubbing we were able to clean the sticky goo that remained once the runner was removed.
