It's a cheap carrier, you get what you pay for.
So this was bought for a very specific purpose, and served that purpose well, but likely won't survive much beyond that single purpose. I have a 15 year old cat who gets anxious and carsick. And we decided to move to a new city around 3 hours away, and I was the one moving the cat and our 2 year old human child, so stopping on the side of the road or at rest stops was something I wanted to minimize to all extents possible. But this cat has never been in a car more than 15-20 minutes without vomiting or pooping all over whatever carrier she was in, sometimes multiple times and on one traumatic (for all of us) occasion, necessitating a bath at our destination. After a ton of research, I determined that my best bet short of medicating her (which, at her age, her vet wasn't thrilled about, nor was I really looking to add "take carsick geriatric cat to the vet" to my to-do list on a day I'm supervising the packing and loading of my entire house with said cat and 2 year old), was buying a larger carrier and hoping for the best. Now as I said, cat is 15. I was honestly having some doubts about whether the trip might be the end of her, and even if it's not, she won't be taking too many more long car trips, if any, so I was not about to shell out three figures for some Cadillac carrier. I just wanted something that would contain her for the move, fit in my backseat with the car seat, and allow her to not feel claustrophobic for three hours. This thing fit the bill for about $20. Now, it didn't fit the bill neatly. First of all, it never stood up straight when opened. It has a lilt to the side about 20 degrees that I can't figure out how to fix. That didn't hamper it fitting in my backseat, but it does limit its utility as a long-term cat bed or anything like that. The fabric is 100% cheap-as-it-comes nylon. It will not hold up to a scratchy cat, or any type of excitable small dog or anything like that. The zipper barely worked, and the windows are... Let's just say I wouldn't put an animal with any drive to escape in this thing. Thankfully, my girl is docile and just yells when she's somewhere she isn't happy, until she goes to sleep. She's no kind of Houdini and I've seen stealthier donkeys. That said, it popped open easily and stood up, if leaning. I was able to layer several old towels and pee pads in the bottom and she still had plenty of space, and it fit behind the drivers seat in my newer model Forester across one side and the middle. It was a little squished between the door and my son's massive rear-facing car seat, but the door closed and it stayed on the seat (though I drive very far back, and the carrier needed the support of the drivers seat. If you're one of those drivers who likes to chew on your steering wheel, you may need to put it behind the passenger seat and move that all the way back for support). And most importantly, it got her from point A to point B in much calmer fashion than I've ever seen her in the car. She was clearly displeased with her lot in life when I shoved her in (I carried her in my arms from the house to the car, this thing will NOT bear weight, plus it's too big and clunky to try to maneuver with an annoyed animal inside), and she gave me a stern talking-to for the first maybe 20 minutes, then she laid down and went to sleep. I had grand plans of putting a tiny litter box in there with her, but alas, that didn't happen, so when she started yowling about an hour from our destination I pulled over to find she'd pooped. So I just took the top layer of towel and pee pad off, right out from under her, shoved it in a trash bag, and continued on down the road, and there was more than enough space for this maneuver without removing her from the carrier. Once relieved of her bowel movement, she curled up and went back to sleep, and that's how I found her when we arrived at her new home. I never did get it to fold completely again. I got it flat, but not back into the little dinnerplate shape. But whatever, it lives tucked behind a shelf now, and occasionally my son plays in it. If and when it dies, I will not be disappointed. It served its singular purpose with honor and dignity, and I have no complaints. I bought a cheap carrier, I got a cheap carrier, and it performed as one would expect a cheap carrier to perform. For that, it gets a good rating from me.

Light weight and compact
So easy to use--I picked this up for summer use outdoors, but popped it up to check it out and my 11 lb dog walked in and settled down immediately. I put a couple of her small blankets inside and it's become her favorite place to nap. She's going to be disappointed when I decide it's no longer the centerpiece of the living room. UPDATE: After just a couple of weeks of inside use some of the black binding has torn to expose the wire frame inside

Great to keep in the car
Wish it had shoulder straps and reinforced strong bottom. I use these for cat transportation as it easily can stay in the car. Easy to wash and keep on hand.

My 8 pound puppy rolled it all over the place
This portable dog cage is easy to fold and zips shut but does not have a way to secure it to anything. My puppy was 8 pound when I got this for her and she rolled it all over the place. It was much larger than I expected. I would say a 20 pound dog could easily fit in it. The material would be good for a beach outing. It folds easy and becomes completely flat when folded.

Easy to set up, easy to clean.
It’s easy to set up and easy to clean. Our puppy gets car sick and this has helped make clean up easier. I just spray it out with a hose and wipe it down and it’s ready for the next journey.

For gentle dogs this is great
I bought this for our elderly basset hound. She loves it and goes in willingly to rest and sleep when I leave it open throughout the day. She easily unzips it even when I've tried using a little zip tie to keep the zippers closed though. A more boisterous dog would rip through the mesh with ease. For traveling with a mellow pet this would be very good. It would not contain even a mild mannered dog who doesn't want to be in there. It is a little confusing to refold it, but once you figure it out it's easy to fold.

Chic Traveling Pet Kennel
The media could not be loaded. I travel with my 8lb Maltipoo once a month so I like how this kennel fits into my suitcase. I will say that Chloe learned how to unzip it so I had to figure out how to keep her in. It didn't keep its structure once Chloe started leaning on its side. So if your pet is smart and strong I would take that into consideration. I love going to the beach and I bring this with me so Chloe can enjoy the beach. I've washed it and let it dry in the shower whenever Chloe had an accident.

Not very sturdy, but big enough to transport a cat in a car with a litter box and room to sleep
I bought two of these to transport my two cats on a recent 1,500 mile move. They aren’t particularly sturdy, but I positioned them in the middle of the SUV on the top of the laid-down backseats, put a travel litter pan in each, and hoped for the best. The cats were transported to the car in their small backpack carriers, which they hate and can’t stay in for very long. FatCat (panic pooper Maine Coon mix) ripped the seams on his within a few hours by head butting the front with displeasure. After realizing there would be no quick escape (and after his gapabentin kicked in), he calmed down and went to sleep. SmallCat (historically the car sick but handsome and quieter cat who does not require meds for travel) did a few circles and settled down for a nap in his own carrier. He didn’t test the seams, zippers, or structural integrity - so his still looks brand new. Both used their own litter pans as needed and were shockingly calm - I think this was because they had room to move and didn’t feel trapped. Bottom line - they worked for a 3 day car trip but know the following: - Not super well made, but good enough for the limited purposes for which I used them. - Don’t try to carry pets in them. Definitely won’t hold if they weigh more than a few pounds. - Big enough to hold a travel litter pan and a very large cat with room to maneuver. - Helped keep carsick cat chill and, in combo with meds, kept an anxious cat less anxious. Worth it.

Better than expected.
I bought two of these for my chihuahuas and was surprised at how easy they were to set up and fold and was even more surprised that my adult sons were able to fit in them. LoL

Huge!
I ordered the 32.5" L x 19" W x 18 H to fit into my wagon to transport my bigger kitty to the doctor's office. This thing will fit 5 big kitties. It's very lightweight so I hope her weight will hold it down from blowing away. There are 2 short, 'female' velco straps attached to the outside that appear to go to nothing useful on the product. They aren't in a loop to accommodate a ground pin, nor are they on opposite sides of each other to prevent blowing up. I gave it 4 stars because I haven't tested it out on my cat yet. I'm hoping the ample room allows her not to feel trapped so she doesn't feel the need to slash open the netting to escape, which is pretty flimsy. I opened it for the cats to get used to inside the house, which takes up quite a bit of room. They immediately enjoyed laying and playing in it. Don't ask me how I got it back to its' original 11" diameter. I just kept squeezing it until it became a circle, which will lay flat in luggage or under the seat of a vehicle.

Converted to spray paint booth, forget the pets!
More than just a pet kennel. Converted to a hobby spray paint & science experiment containment booth! Way cheaper than a real spray painting booth, folds up easy for storage (I could not figure how to fold back in original origami dimensions, just folded flat). Taped garbage bags over the sides with venting fume fan, bright work light shines through fabric easily and away you go. Contained all the paint inside, no fuss. If it gets too grungy just buy another they are so cheap. Wish this kennel came in white colour, could then use it as a lighting/photo booth. This kennel has a million uses.

Perfect for camping trips
This is the most amazing and perfect travel crate ever and I couldn’t be happier that I bought it. I bought this to use on camping trips for my shitzu since she is used to sleeping in a crate. It worked perfectly. It’s wildly sturdy for the price I even layered blankets on top to keep the heat in overnight. It fit her bed and blankets and toy and even a food bowl with room to move around. I couldn’t be more impressed. Take down and set up was a breeze. Even comes with a carry case. Just all around A+ we will be using this on all of our camping trips!

Disappointed! Way overpriced
Initially purchased for my shitzuh. The size is great for that, the screen windows are nice and big and so your pet can see everything. I am very disappointed with the price. If you have ever shopped at a “dollar store” and seen little pop up tents for small puppies/cats. This is the same as that only bigger. Don’t be fooled into thinking those black cloth tabs at the bottom are legs. They are not It came very quickly and when opened it slants very much to the right. Mine does anyway, so I used some small plastic clamps to tweak it a bit so it at least sits squarely now. It is a nice size and I will likely take it with me if I go away overnight or anything. I would recommend that you shop around for something similar at a better price. Check the dollar store and Walmart first. Definitely not worth the price
