Great heavy duty crate perfect for my German Shepherd to lie and be comfortable in. The only real issue was the doors being stiff. I am hoping the WD40 helps but no big deal really. Great Product.

There are 2 reviews below, one for the 30" and one for the 42" as I can't review the just the 42"
Overall the cage is solid, the gauge is definitely heavier than a standard cage. I purchased the 30" size for a 45 lb whippet based on the recommendation of the seller. It's way too small for a dog that size. The door locks are very difficult to open, there's technique but it's still difficult. I think it has to do with the opening for the lock not being large enough to accommodate the the gauge of the metal. The tray is very flimsy, and my dog was able to snap a large section off the 42" in one day. I purchased the 42" cage as a replacement to the smaller one I had purchased (review above). Overall the cage is solid, the gauge is definitely heavier than a standard cage. The door locks are very difficult to open just like the 30" one. I think it has to do with the opening for the lock not being large enough to accommodate the the gauge of the metal. The tray is very flimsy, and was able to snap a large section off in one day. Here's my other main reason for the two star rating, their customer service. I purchased the crate that was one size smaller based on their recommendation but found it way to small and had to order this one. When I attempted to return this item I was informed that I would pay the return shipping and be subject to a 15% restocking fee, which is not readily available on their description of this item. They also will not accept a return unless its in the same box it was shipped in for reselling. Here's the problem, they do not ship this item in a brown exterior box, they ship it in the retail box. This thing is sealed with staples, which makes it very difficult to remove without damaging the box. My box was not only damaged by the delivery company but the ends ended up tearing off. When I informed them of this I was told that due to the damage this item was un-returnable. Now, I'm stuck with a cage that is way too small for my dog, plus this one I ordered as a replacement, and there's nothing that can be done. I contacted Amazon for assistance and they were able to contact the seller for the return, waiving the restocking fee, however they declined the return due to the box damage. There are other sellers that sell this exact item and I would recommend purchasing this for another seller.
