Sterling Silver Earring Backs
Perfect size, shape and weight for product; works well as a replacement earring back or for use when piecing together components to create your own earrings. However, just remember that the product is sterling silver and has not been plated with other metals such as Rhodium or Platinum so the earring back will tarnish over time; especially when constantly exposed to skin oils/sweat, everyday air pollutants, lotions/soaps/shampoos. To prevent premature tarnishing wipe clean with a soft cloth and tightly seal in a plastic baggie or anti-tarnish storage box when not in use. If tarnish occurs you can clean your sterling silver jewelry with sterling silver cleaner; however, for those who are interested in a more natural/ecofriendly/less toxic cleaning solution simply line a quart sized bowl with aluminum foil, fill with purified (bottled) hot (not boiling or scalding) water, add one (1) tablespoon of Arm & Hammer washing powder/soda (not liquid & without bleach) and stir. Dip your sterling silver jewelry in the solution for up to one (1) minute, remove, rinse clean with purified (bottled) water and allow to air dry. Return all unworn sterling silver jewelry to its tightly sealed plastic baggie or anti-tarnish storage box.

GR8 EARRING BACKS!
These earring backs are GR8! I thought they may have looked kind of squished, thinking that they had not survived their long journey, but they actually work Better than any other earring backs (I guess they're called "nuts" now?) that I've ever had! I use a CPAP machine (for sleep apnea) and the rubber straps that fit around my ears were grabbing the earring backs and flinging them around the room, never to be found... I must have lost 5~6 backs (which means I have several earrings that are back~less)! But these fit nice and tight~ Problem Solved! As far as the size, I may get .5mm larger next time just to be a bit easier to handle, but this size is quite adequate. I'm really glad that I bought Two packs!

Grips Well, And Good For Those With Normal Dexterity
These are good for post earrings that need this type of backing, but for anyone who's losing their dexterity, as I am, this may be a bit small to use. Aside from that, they do grip nicely, and won't be a problem for anyone with normal dexterity. I like them, but wish they were a bit easier - thus bigger - to grip, something which could easily be arranged with the same size hole and more metal on the backing. Basically good though.

These are for thin posts. Fit perfectly
First off these are for thinner posts. I bought a group of small silver balls for my 2nd holes (top). I love the small size. I am constantly losing my backs when my hair gets wrapped around them or towel pulls them off. My backs are not interchangeable because most posts are bigger. These totally fit perfectly and actually fit tighter than the originals. I love them!!! They are real silver and I only take my top earrings out for cleaning maybe one every 2 months or so.

An honestly great find.
There are mixed reviews for these earring backings, but they are honestly great. I'm a jewelry designer on Etsy and I've bought these at least half a dozen times to use for my earrings, and they're interchangeable with earrings I've bought other places too. Yes, they're small, but honestly they look great and are less noticeable that way. They provide a snug fit, because who wants their earrings falling out, and they're 100% sterling silver, and my sensitive ears have never gotten irritated. These are a great find.

Good price, fast shipping and great product!
Needed some replacement earring backs for some sterling silver diamond studs I have. These arrived exactly on time (on a Sunday afternoon) and I immediately switched out the backs I had been using. They fit perfectly, no struggle required, and they have not come off or otherwise needed adjusting since (you know how some earring backs don't stay put? Well, these definitely do) - luckily, if it does happen, and I lose one or two, I still have 10 more! Overall very happy with this purchase!

Works well for the price. I've only used two pairs so far but they're holding up and great value. I did my research on whether these would cause irritation and they haven't so I'd buy these again. I didn't give it 5 stars because they feel a little light for sterling silver. But they're worth the price.

Exactly as described by the seller, good quality with reasonable price. Be aware that 4 mm is very small and it only fits earrings with a thin post (the pointed part that you stick through your ear)

Perfect for my diamond earrings! I was so sad I lost the back and regular ones did not fit! These are tiny and perfect! Very happy to be able to wear my earrings again! Just lost in the box for 3 days! Beware to check the box flaps!!!
