Looks nice but extremely fragile

These track crossings look really nice with the n-scale set I bought for my son. However, if you are buying them for a child...even and older one, keep in mind that they are EXTREMELY fragile. The first sign snapped off the very first day we got it, the second one snapped of 2 days later. I super glued them back together but they broke again in a different place. Ended up replacing the pole part of the sign with a piece of copper wire so it can't break. If they're for an adult, and you don't plan on moving them around much, it's probably fine. I would not recommend them for a child though.

Very Useful accessory for motorized crossing gate.

If used with a tortoise switch motor, crossing gate circuit and detector, and an actuator cable, this can be used as an operating, slow motion crossing gate. Working flashers are sold separately from Model Power and NJ international. these ramps can be used with any grade crossing track. I used a Kato Road crossing track and replaced the Kato Ramps with these Bachmann crossing ramps. a shim (i.e. Styrene or n scale cork bed) may be required underneath the ramps to match the crossing height. A tiny drill bit is required to drill holes in the counterweight of each gate (marked with circles) for it to operate.

Very very tiny and dangerous

Bought this as a gift for my nephew who loves trains and rail road crossings (he would always run up to the window to look at a train when he hears it coming). I thouht this was a cool gift and super cheap however the product is TINY. It's not safe for kids, or people who have pets living at their house. Very tiny product. Wasn't worth the price or money.

For the smaller tracks.

I didn't realize it was for the "train table setup". So I wouldn't advice leaving your child unattended. I will still try to figure out a way to integrate these for his wooden block time, but we'll see.

Super tiny

Didnt realize they were so tiny, that was disapointing since i purchased for my son to use with his toy trains, he thought i played a joke on him lol too bad they werent bigger, cant find them anywhere that can work with his toy trains. They seem pretty small for even model trains.
