love this one
Love this product. tried several which seemed to damage hair or get hair tangled in it. was looking for longer barrel because i have long hair, but this works well anyway. It seems to make my hair look more shinny and smooth which gives a more polished look and I am very happy with that. I have three of the bionic products and love them all. different sizes for different looks of course. but very happy with the brand over all, Have had one for a few years although i don't use that as much, it is still like new. I have the 1" long barrel and it works wonderful too after having for over year it still works just as well as day one. I don't use a lot of product on my hair so these are great and helps my hair hold the curl longer than other irons i have tried. This one i like for a smoother look with a small wave underneath which seems to give a healthy fuller look to my hair. Overall i am happy with the brand and glad i purchased this one.

It works well but has some inconvenient features
While this wand works very well for curling my hair, there are two features missing which I find make it INCREDIBLY inconvenient to use. First of all, my last hair wand had a small "stand" attached to the bottom side so it would sit evenly on a counter properly without spinning around. It also served to elevate the burning hot wand part from the surface it is sitting on. I am honestly shocked that this does not have that. I just used it for the very first time and it already rolled around after I set it down on the counter and melted a corner of a makeup palette. Second, my last wand had about 1/2 inch of a plastic tip on the very end of the wand which did not heat up. This was incredibly convenient to rest my fingers on after wrapping my hair around the wand and minimized risk of finger burns. I am undecided if I am keeping the wand due to both of these factors, with the lack of a stand being the biggest downside.

Warms up quickly
The flat iron is good and gets to a good heat level. It’s a little bit hard to hold for long periods of time though. I believe it’s because it’s thick and my hand sometimes gets numb.

Broken
Ordered on Nov 9, 2021. I don’t use everyday and I’m not a hairstylist who leaves it on all day. Went to use iron on match 21 and it won’t heat up. I truly loved this iron till it stopped working. I guess I should have taken the reviews a little more serious as this seems to be a problem
