A little too sturdy
The plastic is a little too rigid—almost like a crinkly stiff plastic more so than a really strong plastic bag material. Made it harder to raise the end and harder to squeeze from the end of the filled bag. Definitely a different type of plastic than the 12” piping bags I have purchased in the past & still have on hand. That being said I’d rather have them bags be too durable vs blowing buttercream out the side seams. It also made them easier to fill with buttercream as well as softer fillings like jelly, fruits or pudding.

Ateco clear 18" bags
They are great and so easy to use. The help with my cookies and candies really come in handy and I can just through them away. Thank you Amazon for offering them.

Very different than other types/brands, difficult to use
I want to start by saying I am not a beginner, and have decorated many professional-looking cakes, cupcakes, etc. My go-to brand has always been the big "W" brand. But since it is hard to find larger bags by that brand, these 18" bags sounded great, and I thought I'd give them a try. Here are my pros & cons as far as what I did and didn't like. Some of these points may be important to you, or not. But here is what I found, so you can decide. Hope this helps! Pros: 1. Nice larger size 2. Plastic seems tough & would not rip easily 3. Stiffer plastic does stand up easier for filling Cons: 1. Plastic too stiff, so cuffing takes a bit longer 2. Stiff plastic makes twisting more difficult, and harder to stay closed 3. Contents seem to come up out of the top, due to a not-tight-enough twist, because of the super-thick plastic. (I should've noticed in the photo that it looks like the icing is coming out of the top of the bag!) 4. The squeaky noise of this plastic sounds like fingernails on a chalkboard (that's the only way to describe the type of plastic this is, and I cannot stand that sound! LOL) 5. Not as flexible as other brands 6. Seems harder to squeeze down every last bit of frosting, batter, etc. out of bag (again, because of the thickness of the plastic, and lack of flexibility) All in all, I would not buy this particular bag again. They sort of remind me of the plastic my grandmother put on her dining room chairs to protect them.

Good value
These work just as described. Its hard to find locally anymore so its nice to have a supplier that I can get in a few days. The bags are the bigger 18" versions, which are much better than the 12" you an find locally, plus they are disposable. I know some people like the reusable kind, but if you ever have to clean them you will find that disposable is that much better. Trust me there is enough to clean up besides the bags.

Good, but I like Wilton better
I use a LOT of disposable pastry bags and when I came across this 200 count box for a good price I decided to give them a try. I was disappointed, however, in the inflexibility of the plastic. When I insert the coupler in the bag I like for it to be snug so the icing doesn't leak past it and ooze out into the ring. These bags are stiffer and it was very difficult, and sometimes impossible to get the coupler where I wanted it. They are okay, but once I use them up, I'll be going back to the Wilton ones.

Fairly thick but has weak seams
The seam split in the middle of what I was working on and left me with a huge mess. It might be fine so long as you are working with something fairly thin but definitely not good for stiff icings and fillings.
