I used these lanterns for my cloud lamp and saved over $3000!

The media could not be loaded. I used these to make my wife a cloud lamp she wanted. You have probably seen them around the interne. The reall ones cost over $3000 and I wasn't going to have anything to do with that, but I did like the idea and decided to make my own using these lanterns, LED lights, a bluetooth speaker and some batting. The three different sizes of these really helped the cloud look more real. Plus it was such so much easier and more convenient than ordering from three different vendors or at least three separate sales. When I made my cloud lamp, I went out and bought fishing line but then when I opened these up I realized they already came with some. The point is, with a little bit of creativeness you could use these for just about anything you want to create. And lets face it.. these are a bargain. Check on-line for project ideas if you are not the creative type. I hope this helps you. GaragleWalk

You can paint them to match!

Perfect purchase!! I didn't know what to expect but I was hopeful. I need these for my mothers wedding reception and had given up looking for paper lanterns to match her colors. I ordered them and then matched her colors in spray paints. I also bought the little LCD lights suggested by Amazon and put everything together. I'm MORE than thrilled! I'm super excited for everything to come together at the reception. The lights shine through the painted globes very nicely too! I ordered 2 packages to try them out, and now I'm ordering 4 more. The only thing I have left is to decorate the lights with ribbons and flowers. (I'm also going to remember to paint these for birthday parties, holidays as well)

Good product

They are a lot smaller than I initially planned but over all they worked out. My only comment would be so go for a larger size than you think you need.

But they arrived in great condition, and exactly as expected

I purchased these as a gift for my mom, and she absolutely loves them! She initially wanted to hang lights in each one with a cord kit, but upon arrival realized they are not safe to use with electricity or fire (obviously), they are paper! So be careful! But they arrived in great condition, and exactly as expected. She wants to order more in red, black and hot pink!

USED TO MAKE CLOUD LIGHT

Purchased these for my daughter to make cloud lights in her bedroom. She hot-glued poly fill to the outside of them and strung them up with lights inside and they worked out perfectly for her.

Much smaller than expected

These lanterns are much smaller than I was expecting. They are fine, and look cute in my daughters' room, but I was hoping that the large one would be much larger.
