Beautiful!

These are beautiful! They are as described and of very nice quality. I wasn't sure what to expect, but the reviews were so good I decided to try them. I knew I wanted certain colors in the classic stripe and I wanted the twisted and tied fringe ends. Having loose fringe would have driven me crazy, lol. I was impressed with the color selection and ordered the 6 pack, then messaged the seller to ask them to include certain colors. They replied within 2 hours, telling me what colors were currently available and I selected from that. They confirmed they had them promptly. The towels arrived before the estimated arrival date. I followed the suggestions offered here, in reviews, to soak them in vinegar and water overnight, then launder. They did arrive with a pervasive incense odor, but the laundering took that out. They dried smooth and flat with little to no lint in the trap. I find no imperfections in them and they are as described. Overall a good experience. The weight of the fabric is similar to a plain woven non-terry dish towel, Someone mentioned in a review on Amazon that they weren't sure they were cotton [might have been another product]. but these are very clearly cotton. They are really quite nice and extremely soft. Yes, you could use them for a very lightweight throw.

too thin for me

I've bought a few of these towels; several different "models", styles, brands etc. My favorites have been the Bersuse and the Dandelion brands. I like the thicker ones with a more substantial weave (not to be mistaken; they are still thin on the standard of traditional towels). The thin ones to me, compare to drying off with a bed sheet or table cloth. They were a disappointment after using the thicker (in my opinion, better quality) towels. Both brands have both styles (thick & thin). This was a thin one, and while disappointing as a body towel, I will not return it. It can be used for lots of things, a light throw, a beach towel, a table cloth (lol....but really). I had some excess lint in the dryer trap only on the initial wash, after that nothing substantial or out of the norm. I have to admit, I did not follow any laundering instructions. I washed them as I normally would on a warm wash cycle and cold rinse cycle, I also put them in the dryer on the regular heat level. I can't really explain why but they did not seem to shrink at all. Being that they are cotton, I would have expected it. I also have not got a measuring tape out to verify. Though, if there was shrinkage it's minor enough to not notice in everyday use. The quality seems to be great, but I do not feel like they dry (after use) as quickly as some other reviewers say. I do think though, that because they are so big, the whole towel does not get wet; actually after using, most of the towel is still dry.

Try it, You'll Love it!

I've been wanting a Turkish towel for ages and was initially put off by the price. But I took the plunge and couldn't be happier. They are light weight--like a thin dish towel, but amazingly absorbent. Much better than the traditional thick looped towel. Plus because they are so thin, they dry much much faster. I may go back to my heavier towel in the winter, but for now in summer, the Bersuse towel is the perfect weight. Also, I'm not exactly a little bitty thing, and even after washing and a very minor bit of initial shrinkage, this towel is plenty big to fit around me with room to spare. I particularly like this brand because they seem to be of really good quality. You can often tell by the packaging and the label whether the company is mindful of quality. I had to buy another for my husband because he was jealous. I have a feeling there will be more purchased in my future. Maybe a rainbow of colors!

I never leave it behind.

Turkish towels have become one of my must pack items no matter where I go. I've used them as towels at the lake, beach and pool. I've used them as scarves on chilly planes and shawls on cool summer evenings. I even took one with me to the hospital! I had a 5 day stay after surgery and used my turkish towel as an extra blanket, soft cover for my pillow and even over my face to block the light when the nurses kept checking on me all night long. I highly recommend you buy one and take it with you everywhere. You will use this constantly!

This towel is invaluable. It's lightweight, it blocks the wind, is large and warm enough to be worn like a serape, shawl, scarf, or cloak. It dries very quickly and doesn't hold on to moisture. When worn as a pancho in the rain, it doesn't get drenched unless you're in an absolute monsoon. For anyone who's read "the hitchhiker's guide to the galaxy," you know that a successful hitchhiker should always have his towel with him. Don't worry about the up front cost of this towel. It will pay for itself many times over. I've had many compliments on its design and I'm amazed that it's fabric has only gotten softer to the touch since the day I received it. Double thumbs up.

Glad I mistakenly ordered 2 sets!

These are so lovely that I'm not at all sorry I accidentally ordered two sets. If you're accustomed to big, fat, fluffy towels that are "thirsty," yet take forever to dry, you may find these a bit disconcerting at first. Though they are definitely thinner than you may be used to, they are surprisingly absorbent, due to their special weave. That they dry fast and take up less room in the linen closet only adds to their appeal. As with all towels, *avoid* using fabric softener sheets with these towels so as to maintain their ultimate absorbency.

These towels are large enough to be fully functional as a beach towel, blanket, wrap, bath towel, or anything else you can dream up. The material isn't thick and fluffy like the plush towels most of us in the US are used to, but don't let that stop you from trying. These absorb water well but dry fast....my teen daughter used as a bath towel, waded up and tossed in a chair. An hour later, instead of soaked towel and damaged chair, I was pleasantly surprised with slightly damp towel and normal chair. So far they pass the test!

Non sono fan

Ho comprato in passato teli simili da vucomprà in spiaggia che erano di migliore qualità. E ho detto tutto. Il cotone di questi è un po' sottile e un po' moscetto, non è un bel prodotto e non lo ricomprerei.

He comprado 3 colores ( Verde, Gris y Naranja). Hace muy agradable sentarse en los sofás en verano. Se enrollan pequeñitos y los tengo en un revistero cuando no los uso
